Following an extensive refurbishment programme, the St Kitts’ Ocean Terrace Inn is planning to reopen to holidaymakers on 1st March, 2015.

The boutique hotel is the oldest in St Kitts and Nevis and it is currently undergoing renovations after it received a $5 million loan from the St Kitts and Nevis Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation.

The luxury hotel’s 50 guest rooms and suites have all been upgraded and feature private balconies, and guests will be able to enjoy new free Wi-Fi and brighter décor and furnishings throughout the property. The refurbishments were led by New York-based Richard Williams & Associates.

Located within three acres of tropical gardens, the St Kitts’ Ocean Terrace Inn is perched on the hillside high above the city of Basseterre and the sparkling Caribbean Sea.

Facilities at the Caribbean hotel include two swimming pools, including a manmade lagoon that snakes through the grounds and gardens; a small gym; conference and meeting space; and the Fisherman’s Wharf and The Verandah restaurants.

Guests can also take advantage of the free shuttle from the hotel to the one of the best beaches on St Kitts.

St Kitts and Nevis is a twin-island nation in the Caribbean and the two picturesque islands are separated by a two-mile channel. Both destinations are home to an abundance of wildlife including birds, turtles and tropical monkeys, creating a perfect retreat for relaxing and luxurious holidays.

The islands boast breathtaking natural landscapes, including white sand beaches fringed with crystal clear turquoise ocean waters, verdant green forests, volcanic peaks, winding rivers, and a tropical climate.

Tourists can enjoy an array of activities such as tours to historical sites, bird watching, scuba diving, snorkelling yachting, catamaran cruises, fishing, golf, shopping and pampering treatments in luxury spas.

Popular attractions include Brimstone Hill National Park, Frigate Bay, Frigate Bay Golf Course, Cottle Church, Pinney’s Beach, and The Alexander Hamilton House.
