Royal Palm Marrakech opens new Spa by Clarins

The Royal Palm Marrakech has opened its lavish new Spa by Clarins where guests can indulge in a wide range of pampering treatments.

The five-star hotel in Morocco opened its doors to guests earlier this year and is Beachcomber Hotels' first property outside of the Indian Ocean.

The new spa has been designed to resemble a Moroccan palace and offers specific treatments that cater for the individual needs of the luxury hotel's guests. Visitors can choose from Royal Palm signature treatments plus facials, massages and body treatments that have been inspired by Moroccan culture.

The 90-minute 'Supreme Rose' Signature Massage combines pressure techniques, stretching and vibrations to soothe the body and soul and is inspired by the Moroccan Ksal, while the Body Wrap with Ghassoul Clay and Spices purifies, tones and nourishes the skin and has been used by women in Morocco for centuries.

Royal Palm Marrakech is located facing the spectacular Atlas Mountains in the heart of a 231-hectare olive grove in the Haouz Plain, just 12 kilometres from Marrakech city.

The Beachcomber resort has 135 luxurious suites and villas with balconies or terraces that offer views looking out across the golf course or the Atlas Mountains.

Tourists of all ages will find plenty to do, thanks to the array of upscale facilities that include a Cabell B. Robinson-designed 18-hole, par 72 golf course; a kids club for children aged between 3 and 12 years old; tennis courts; and four restaurants that offer a range of superb culinary delights led by the Michelin-starred French Chef, Philippe Jourdin (Meilleur Ouvrier de France).

Morocco is a country in North Africa located south of Spain with a coastline spreading across both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. While visiting the country, tourists can explore the medieval city of Fez; the movie-famous city of Casablanca that is home to Morocco's largest mosque, The King Hassan II; and the traditional souks, spice markets and historical ruins in Marrakech.
