Guests staying at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman can now take advantage of the hotel's new and improved app that enable them to make service requests to hotel staff in real time.

The Cayman Islands hotel has made it easier for guests to enjoy the convenience in the palm of their hand using their smart phones and android devices. Users can now check-in and check-out with a click of a button and in October, they will be able to have food and drinks delivered directly to their poolside lounger or beach cabana when they put their request in using the app.

Megan Licata from the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, explained:

"It also gives our ladies and gentlemen the opportunity to spend more time connecting with our guests in ways that are meaningful. We're not talking about the minutiae of your reservation, we're talking about when are you planning your trip to stingray city, how can we assist you with dinner reservations and things like that."

The app is free to download and can be used to make dinner reservations and plan fun activities on Grand Cayman.

Located on 144 acres on a sandy, oceanfront stretch, Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman boasts luxurious accommodation and an array of upscale facilities. During their stay at the luxury beachfront hotel, guests can indulge in pampering treatments at the Silver Rain a la prairie spa, play golf on the Blue Tip Greg Norman-designed golf course, play tennis on The Courts by Bollettieri, and savour delicious cuisine at the Blue by Eric Ripert restaurant.

The Cayman Islands are made up of three main islands located in the west Caribbean Sea, south of Cuba: Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. The island nation is a British Overseas territory and is one of the world's most popular scuba diving destinations.

Tourists can relax on pristine white sand beaches including the famous Seven Mile Beach, and enjoy scuba diving and snorkelling activities in warm, turquoise ocean waters where they can catch sightings of colourful coral, tropical fish, stingrays, seahorses, turtles and sharks.
