Best Western opens first Turkish Hammam in Cambodia

Best Western has brought the first Turkish hammam to Cambodia. The tranquil wellness facility can be found at the recently-opened Best Western River Palace Hotel in Phnom Penh and includes a traditionally-designed steam bath and a large archway that leads to a central tiled hammam area with a domed ceiling.

Best Western has brought the first ever Turkish Hammam to Cambodia at its recently-opened Best Western River Palace Hotel.

The new steam bath features traditional design and a large archway that leads to a central hammam area that has walls lined with tiles and a beautiful domed ceiling.

The tranquil wellness facility offers features a range of amenities for pampering treatments, including hot and cold Jacuzzis, a steam bath, and a modern fitness centre. Glenn de Souza, the Vice President of International Operations for Best Western Asia and Middle East, explained:

"Best Western always aims to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing environment in which to unwind. Our stunning new spa at the Best Western River Palace Hotel in Phnom Penh takes this mantra to a whole new level, offering serene treatments away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets.

"And with the first ever Turkish hammam in Cambodia, I am delighted to be able to offer our guests such a unique and memorable experience."

Located in the centre of Phnom Penh, on the banks of the Tonle Sap River, Best Western River Palace Hotel features Middle East design and opulent decor with pillars and vaulted ceilings.

Guests staying at the 59-room hotel can relax with a cocktail at the Riviera Bar, while listening to music from the live rhythm band, or savour Khmer and Western cuisine in the River View Restaurant while admiring the beautiful vistas of the glistening river below.
