Luxury multi-million dollar resort development planned for Turks and Caicos
Circle Holdings Limited is developing a multi-million dollar luxury resort and marina in Turks and Caicos after a development agreement was signed last week. The complex will be built on a 17-acre site in Turtle Cove and will have 1,300-feet of marina and 775-feet of sand beach on Grace Bay on the island of Providenciales.
The twin-island nation of Turks and Caicos looks set to welcome a new multi-million dollar luxury development after Circle Holdings Limited signed a development agreement TCI government last week.
The new luxury resort hotel and marina will be built on a 17-acre site in Turtle Cove on the island of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean.
The development will include and 1,300 feet of marina and 775 feet of beach on the beautiful renowned Grace Bay.
The project's outline development has permission and if final planning is approved, construction will start in 2015 with an aim to open during the Caribbean's 2016/ 2017 high season. Vasco N F Borges, the owner and CEO of Circle Holdings, explained:
"The travel industry feedback to our plans has been fantastic. The project will add to the outstanding array of hospitality options in the TCI, by offering the first European Plan luxury resort in Grace Bay, with an unmatched set of amenities and guest experiences.
"In the coming months, we will be announcing our hotel and marina operating partners, as well as introducing our high-end boutique retail stores."
The luxury beachfront resort will feature 140 spacious suites, including seven signature penthouse suites with rooftop pools and gardens. There will be two swimming pools, a casino, a luxury spa, a cigar and rum lounge, verdant gardens, and 7,000-square-feet state-of-the-art multisport and events centre. The marina's boardwalk will have boutiques and gourmet restaurants, including a seafood restaurant next to the beach.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are situated in the West Indies, north of the Dominican Republic and Haiti, and southeast of The Bahamas.
The island of Providenciales spans 38 miles and is home to breathtaking natural landscapes including the famous Grace Bay beach; the naturally-formed limestone opening called The Hole; and Chalk Sound, a long coral reef, which is thriving with marine species; and a large lake with turquoise water and a collection of small cays.
