Beenie Man to join line-up for 18th St Kitts Music Festival in June

Grammy Award winner Beenie Man will be joining the star-studded line-up at the 18th St Kitts Music Festival in June. Originally from Jamaica, Beenie Man has had hits such as "Who Am I" and "Romie" and he has collaborated with Janet Jackson and Mya. Tessanne Chin, a Jamaican reggae-fusion singer has also been confirmed to perform at the annual festival.

Beenie Man has been announced as the latest act to join the line-up at the 18th St Kitts Music Festival this summer.

The Grammy Award winner will be playing in St Kitts at the annual music festival that takes place from 26th to 28th June, 2014.

Originally from Jamaica, Beenie Man has had successful hits such as "Who Am I" and "Romie" and he has performed with Janet Jackson and Mya.

The singer will be joined at the St Kitts Music Festival by Tessanne Chin, a Jamaican reggae-fusion singer and the winner of the fifth season of the NBC U.S TV show, The Voice.

One of Beenie Man's biggest fans is Senator Ricky Skerritt, the Minister of Tourism and International Transport for St Kitts, Senator Skerritt commented:

"I expect that Beenie Man will do what he has done every time he has performed in St. Kitts in the past – electrify the crowd and make an indelible mark on the event."

Holidaymakers visiting St Kitts and Nevis will be able to soak up the festival's vibrant atmosphere while enjoying diverse music including RandB, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Gospel and Contemporary.

Over the years, The St. Kitts Music Festival has seen performances from global musicians and singers including John Legend, Lionel Richie, Boyz II Men, T-Pain, Michael Bolton, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, UB40's Ali Campbell, Wyclef Jean, Ne-Yo, Air Supply, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Shaggy, Toni Braxton, The Commodores, Dionne Warwick, Billy Ocean, Sean Paul, King Konris, Stephen Marley, Regina Belle, Maxi Priest, Beres Hammond, Roberta Flack, Biggie Irie, Bunny Wailer and Lord Nelson.

The Caribbean twin island nation of St Kitts and Nevis is located in the West Indies. The two picturesque islands are separated by a two-mile channel and tourists can easily access both islands during their visit.
