Tourists can plan their holidays to St Kitts using newly launched mobile app

The Caribbean island of St Kitts has launched its very first App for mobiles after it teamed up with British Airways and the Telegraph Media Group. The Telegraph St. Kitts Destination App is free to download and allows holidaymakers visiting St Kitts to read insider knowledge about local restaurants, beaches and experiences and use interactive maps to plan their trip.

Tourists planning to visit the Caribbean island of St Kitts can now use their mobile phones to organise their trip, thanks to a new App launched in conjunction with British Airways and the Telegraph Media Group.

The Telegraph St. Kitts Destination App is free too download and allows visitors to plan activities for their holidays with the help of insider knowledge on local restaurants, bars and beaches and interactive maps of St Kitts and Nevis.

The app is available on all iPhones and Android devices and the content has been compiled by the Telegraph's destination experts.

Holidaymakers can read about the latest flight offers to St. Kitts with British Airways as well as insider knowledge about the local culinary delights and how to get the best tables at the best restaurants.

"This is an exciting new development for St. Kitts, particularly as it is a first for the destination while also representing the first of the Telegraph Travel Apps to be launched. With consumers increasingly using their mobile devices to search for holiday information, it is essential we keep our visitors up-to-date; and I am thrilled that the partnership with Telegraph Media Group and British Airways has secured this most innovative product for the destination."

St Kitts is one half of the twin-island Caribbean nation of St Kitts and Nevis, and the two picturesque islands are separated by a two-mile channel. Both destinations are home to an abundance of wildlife including birds, turtles and tropical monkeys, creating a perfect retreat for relaxing and luxurious holidays.

The tropical climate is just one reason why tourists travel to St Kitts and Nevis, but the islands also boast breathtaking natural landscapes, including white sand beaches fringed with crystal clear turquoise ocean waters, verdant green forests, volcanic peaks, and winding rivers.

With an array of luxury beachfront all-inclusive hotels to choose from, holidaymakers can enjoy an array of activities such as tours to historical sites, bird watching, scuba diving, snorkelling yachting, catamaran cruises, fishing, golf, shopping and pampering treatments in luxury spas.
