Blue Haven Resort and Marina opens its doors in Turks and Caicos

Earlier this month, the Blue Haven Resort and Marina officially opened its doors on the island of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos.

The brand new luxury hotel is the first resort in the Caribbean destination to have its own marina and guests will be able to enjoy a wide range of fun watersports and activities in Turk and Caicos.

Accommodation at the Blue Haven Resort and Marina ranges from 16 premier guest rooms and 35 one, two and three-bedroom suites that each offer private terraces with views overlooking the marina and the sparkling azure ocean. The suites boast fully-equipped deluxe kitchens, HD flat-screen TVs, complimentary WiFi and luxury bathroom products.

The hotel's facilities include a 24-hour gym, an infinity-edge swimming pool with swim-up bar, and gourmet restaurants including Fire and Ice Restaurant and SALT Bar and Grill. Guests can also enjoy a range of spa services that are currently available in guest rooms and suites, onboard guests' boats, or in the luxury resort's private waterfront gazebo. A brand new onsite spa with two treatment rooms is due to open in early 2014.

The 78 slip marina berths yachts up to 220 feet and offers an onsite immigration service. Short and long-term boat and yacht charters can be reserved through the resort's guest services department.

Guests visiting this Turks and Caicos resort can take part in beachside activities such as beach volleyball, chess, and access to a stretch of fully-serviced white sand beach that has comfortable chaise lounges and hammocks. They also can enjoy a selection of watersports including, scuba diving, snorkelling, deep sea and fly-fishing spots and sailing.

This week, the resort will be the official Caribbean resort to welcome the team of six international kiteboarders who have been taking part in the Atlantic Kiteboarding Challenge. The kiteboarders attempted the first ever trans-Atlantic crossing by kiteboard and they departed from the Canary Islands on 20th November, 2013.
