Kittitian Hill development in St Kitts and Nevis on schedule for soft launch in December
In a recent radio interview the Minister of Tourism for St Kitts and Nevis, Ricky Skeritt, confirmed that the Kittitian Hill project is on track with the soft launch of the Belle Mont hotel expected to take place in December 2013. The Kittitian Hill development and its harmonious blend of luxury and sustainability make it one of the most eagerly anticipated additions to St Kitts and Nevis' repertoire of hotels and resorts.
The Minister of Tourism for St Kitts and Nevis Ricky Skerritt recently confirmed that the first phase of the eagerly anticipated Kittitian Hill development is on schedule with a soft launch of the Belle Mont Farm luxury hotel expected to take place in December 2013.
Mr Skerrit's assurance came during a recent radio interview where he also gave some added insight into the Belle Mont Farm hotel which will be operated by Sedona Resorts. In the interview he said:
"Let me just say these are 35 high-end room. I mean the daily rental rate is going to be at the Four Seasons level to use that as a standard. It will be a relatively small, soft opening as they go through the process of training and establishing their standards and they are in the process of early interviews with the possibility of hiring their local team."
The Kittitian Hill project is one of its kind- a 400 acre development which will be home to private villas, cottages and exclusive suites, a luxury nature spa, on site organic farms, bars, restaurants, shops and even its own open air cinema.
Not only will Kittitian Hill provide everything guests could ever hope for while on their St Kitts and Nevis holidays but its founders are also committed to sustainability making this the ideal option for the growing market of eco conscious holidaymakers.
Notably, the local community is at the very heart of the Kittitian Hill development with architect Bill Bensley working closely with over 30 local contractors to bring the project to life, all of whom are receiving invaluable training along the way.
"My vision is to bring together community and culture, along with mindful conservation of natural resources. This means we can offer our guests an unforgettable experience, while bringing lasting, life-changing benefits to the local people and economy."
Explained Kittian Hill founder Val Kempadoo.
Great things are expected from the Kittitian Hill project as local tourism officials including Minister Skeritt have acknowledged that the island needs more hotel rooms if it is to go ahead with its efforts to attract more St Kitts and Nevis holiday bookings.
In addition to the Kittitian Hill project there is also the Park Hyatt Hotel which is currently under development as well as major refurbishments at some of St Kitts and Nevis most popular hotels including Frigate Beach hotel and the Ocean Terrace Inn.
