Peter Fraser appointed as new General Manager of Sandals LaSource Resort and Spa Grenada

Peter Fraser has been appointed as the new General Manager of Sandals LaSource Resort and Spa Grenada. The Luxury Included resort is scheduled to open its doors to tourists taking Grenada holidays in December, 2013 and Mr Fraser has been selected to manage the day-to-day operations of the property while bringing the new resort to life through the vision of Sandal's founder and chairman,, Gordon "Butch" Stewart.

Peter Fraser has been announced as the General Manager of the new LaSource Grenada Resort and Spa.

The Luxury Included® resort will open to tourists taking Grenada holidays in December, 2013 and Mr Fraser has been appointed to manage the day-to-day operations while using his vision to provide a unique experience for guests.

Mr Fraser is currently the General Manager at Sandals Royal Plantation and he will help bring the new resort to life through the vision of Sandals Resorts founder and chairman, Gordon "Butch" Stewart.

After working in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years, Mr Fraser will bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the Grenada hotel. During his time as General Manager of Sandals Royal Plantation, he has helped restore the resort, formerly known as the Plantation Inn, to how it was in its heyday and it has since become a leading luxury Caribbean property.

The new Grenada hotel's facilities include nine gourmet dining options, including a steakhouse; three swimming pools and two river pools; and a modern fitness centre and large Wellness Centre with Spa.

Accommodation includes 225 luxurious guest rooms and suites that are located within three villages: Pink Gin, South Seas, and Italian Village.

Grenada is a Caribbean island nation famously known as the "Island of Spice". In Grenada, tourists can explore its collection of breathtaking natural attractions such as the famous Grand Anse Beach; the island's highest peak, Mount St. Catherine; Grand Etang Nature Reserve with its azure crater lake; Seven Sister Waterfalls and the highest waterfall in Grenada, Mt. Carmel Waterfall; the Underwater Sculpture Park; and the Belmont Estate, a former 17th-Century plantation and base for Grenada Chocolate Company products.

Sandals Resorts operates several all inclusive luxury hotels in the Caribbean with properties in tropical islands including Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, St Lucia, Antigua, and The Bahamas.
