Princess Cruises will be offering cruises in the Caribbean from Florida for the first time in four years. The cruise line announced that the Caribbean Princess will be providing a range of cruise holidays, from three-day breaks to week-long tropical getaways around the region between May and September, 2014.

There will be 12 seven-day Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises which can be combined so tourists can enjoy 14-night-long holidays in the Caribbean and the ship will also offer 13 three, four, and five-night short sailings where holidaymakers can sample the Princess experience and a few of the beautiful tropical islands. All Caribbean cruises will depart from and return to Fort Lauderdale in Florida, United States and are available to book now.

"Summertime is prime vacation season and we're happy to be back in the Caribbean next year," commented Jan Swartz, the executive vice president of Princess Cruises. "No matter how much time passengers have to get away, we've got the perfect voyage to help them escape completely."

The itineraries for cruise holidays in the Caribbean include the ports of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, San Juan in Puerto Rico, Costa Maya in Mexico, Ocho Rios in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Grand Turk, and Princess Cays in the Bahamas.

Cruises are a popular choice for millions of holidaymakers all over the world and the Caribbean is one of the leading destinations for relaxing trips.

Holidaymakers can choose from an array of idyllic island nations that each offer breathtaking natural landscapes, luxury Caribbean hotels and resorts, and a sunny, tropical climate.

Popular cruise destinations for Caribbean holidays include Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba, St Lucia, Turks and Caicos, and the British and US Virgin Islands.

Caribbean cruises allow tourists to visit a collection of tropical destinations without having to pack up their luggage and change hotels or accommodation. During cruises to the Caribbean, travellers can go scuba diving and snorkelling, relax on pristine white and pink sand beaches, hike through verdant national parks, shop in traditional markets and stylish boutiques, and take tours of historical towns and sites.
