Karisma Hotels enters the Jamaica holidays market with the acquisition of Sandy Bay Beach Resort in Negril
Karisma Hotels & Resorts has expanded its portfolio outside of Mexico and entered the Caribbean market after acquiring the former Sandy Bay Beach Resort in Negril in Jamaica. The new property will operate under the name Seashore Bay Beach Resort and will be open to tourists taking Jamaica holidays from 1st December, 2012.
Karisma Hotels & Resorts, a company with an already extensive collection of hotel properties all over Cancun and the Riviera Maya, has recently expanded its portfolio further into the Caribbean after acquiring the former Sandy Bay Beach Resort in Negril, Jamaica.
The new hotel will be called the Seashore Bay Beach Resort and it will open its doors to tourists taking Jamaica holidays from 1st December, 2012.

The new Seashore Bay Beach Resort will undergo 60 days of multi-million-dollar refurbishments and once completed the Jamaica hotel’s facilities will include two swimming pools, four gourmet restaurants, a lavish spa, kid’s club, and an array of fun and relaxing activities and entertainment.
Aimed at providing luxury holidays in Jamaica for families, couple and singles, the Jamaica hotel will be rebranded under Karisma’s Azul brand and it will have 128 guest rooms within nine different categories and holidaymakers will be able to enjoy views of the sparkling azure ocean or the tropical gardens.
Chomat added: “We are particularly excited to be in Negril, on the famous seven-mile stretch of beach, and we look forward to working with the dynamic group of staff and management at the resort.”

During holidays to Jamaica, travellers can explore the natural wonders of the island including Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios, the five-mile-long Doctor’s Cave Beach in Montego Bay, tropical botanical gardens, the majestic Blue Mountains and the beautiful sandy seven-mile beach in Negril. Tourists can also enjoy visits to the renowned Bob Marley Museum, Kingston Harbour and the historic sugar plantations.
