Enhancing the quality of family holidays to be had in Mauritius, the Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita is stepping up their game by launching an innovative programme specially created for the youngest members of the family.
Enticing Junior golf enthusiasts with a brand new golfing programme designed just for them, the lavish Four Seasons Mauritius at Anahita is putting the fun element of golf to help little talents evolve into future golf pros.
Adding a special touch to family holidays in Mauritius for golf lovers, the little ones coming along with the parents will be kept busy throughout their stay as they work to become champions.
The newly launched Kids’ Golf Academy will offer expert coaching with video swing analysis for all children, including complete beginners or those mini-pros already winning junior titles. The club will cater to the specific needs of every level of junior player with a dedicated team of golf professionals carefully leading them through courses to match their different level of abilities.
As part of the new programme, children will by trying out their skills at the resort’s panoramic championship course designed by Ernie Els. Specifically designed for youngsters aged between 5-16, the new golf club will offer parents and their children with a one or three day course, each of which will be tailored to either improve young players’ skills, introduce them to the game, or perfect their techniques during fung golfing Mauritius holidays at the legendary resort.
Welcomed by a professional coach, children attending the Kids’ Golf Academy are first escorted to the Pro Shop, where they will be kitted out with a golfing polo shirt, cap and gloves, to make sure they truly look the part. Their professional coach will then introduce them to all of the facilities, including a buggy tour of the oceanfront golf course, an overview of the Golf Academy and the chance to meet the oldest residents at Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita, the two Giant Aladabra Tortoises at the green of the 9th hole, Gromomo and Ticolo.
After a delicious lunch in Le Club restaurant that sits overlooking the stunning 18th hole championship golf course, children will partake in a 2-hour lesson with individual coaching from their professional instructor, with the opportunity of trying out the video swing analysis software and time to practise at the driving range and putting greens. Those opting for the three day course, will continue with two further days of instruction, with the potential for them to play on one or two holes of the Ernie Els course.
Children completing the whole journey at the Kids’ Golf Academy at the Four Seasons will be able to share their achievements with their family the following morning, when their professional instructor will present their certificate and a DVD of their video swing analysis at breakfast.
