Sheraton Cairo Hotel Towers & Casino Closes for Renovations

The Sheraton Cairo Hotel Towers & Casino will be closing its doors to tourists taking Egypt holidays this month as it undergoes renovations. The hotel will be closed until summer 2012 while its 650 guest rooms and facilities receive a complete makeover.

The Sheraton Cairo Hotel Towers & Casino in Cairo, Egypt will be closing this month as major renovations are to be carried out throughout the property.

The luxury hotel will be closing its doors to travellers planning Egypt holidays in Cairo between October 2011 and summer 2012. During this period, the hotel’s 650 guest rooms will receive a makeover, while facilities and public spaces will undergo an extensive refurbishment.

The hotel offers a perfect central location for Egypt holidays or business travel and guests will find many major attractions and shopping centres to be only a short walk away from the hotel property.

Situated on the west bank of the River Nile, Sheraton Cairo Hotel Towers & Casino is made up of two tall towers that pierce the city’s skyline. The hotel currently has 340 guest rooms but once renovations have been completed it will offer 650 beautifully-appointed rooms and suites for both holidaymakers and business travellers.

This is the final stage of the hotel’s renovations and when it reopens to tourists next summer, guests will be able to dine in 11 new gourmet restaurants and bars; hold conferences and meetings in the completely renovated, state-of-the-art Business Centre and adjacent board rooms; attend events in the brand new ballroom; and enjoy a good workout or rejuvenating treatments at the Sheraton Core Performance Fitness Centre & Spa.

The hotel’s façade will also be undergoing work, as will the lobby area, entrance and public areas. Once all renovation work has been completed, the Sheraton Cairo Hotel Towers & Casino is set to be one of the most luxurious Egypt hotels in Cairo.
