Tourism Board Aims to Boost Budget Seychelles Holidays
The Seychelles Tourism Board has announced that it is diversifying its current tourism market offer by launching a new "affordable Seychelles" programme which will boost the number of budget travellers taking cheaper holidays in the Seychelles.
Travellers who are keen on booking Seychelles holidays but are put off by the high costs linked with this upscale destination will be pleased to hear that the Seychelles Tourism Board is diversifying its tourism offerings for budget travellers as part of a new programme.
The tourism authority is looking to boost the number of budget travellers going on holidays in the Seychelles and is encouraging local Seychelles hotels and businesses to capitalise on new opportunities within this new tourism development sector.
One Seychelles hotelier who is keen to be included in the new “affordable Seychelles” concept is the Reef Holidays Apartment which is located in Anse Aux Pins on the island of Mahe.
The property comprises eight spacious rooms on the ground floor of the building, four two-bedroom apartments and two three-bedroom apartments on the first floor offering beautiful ocean views.
The property is owned and managed by Eugene Albert and his wife Juliana who are keen to embrace the “atffordable Seychelles” concept, saying that this option provides a new generation of travel options for those who are “looking for a home away from home” with Seychelles holidays at very affordable rates.
The Reef Holiday Apartment also compliments the tourism authority’s vision to encourage tourists to book self-catering apartments and smaller guesthouses for a more authentic and local experience during for holidays in the Seychelles.
A representative from the Seychelles Tourism Board said: “This is all part of the Seychelles brand … and what many of you are looking for.”
The Seychelles is an island nation situated in the Indian Ocean, over 900 miles east of mainland Africa. The country spans an archipelago of 115 islands which feature lush green mountains, huge granite boulders, white sand palm-fringed beaches, turquoise ocean waters and a tropical climate; perfect for luxury holidays in the Indian Ocean.
The islands offer perfect conditions for snorkelling and scuba diving activities and the crystal clear, warm waters are home to an array of marine species, from colourful corals to octopus, Butterfly fish, Angel fish and Nurse Sharks.
