AirTran announces new seasonal service to Caribbean holidays in Bermuda

Just yesterday Tuesday, 8th December 2011 at Network Latin America 2010, AirTran Airways announced a new non-stop, seasonal service to Bermuda holidays, departing from Baltimore/Washington and Atlanta International Airport.

Bermuda as a holiday destination and port of call marks the latest destination in AirTran's international route network, which includes other popular Caribbean destinations like Aruba holidays; Cancun holidays, Jamaica holidays in Montego Bay; Nassau holidays, Bahamas holidays; and Dominican Republic holidays in Punta Cana.

Non-stop flights taking worldwide holidaymakers to Caribbean holidays in Bermuda will be available daily from Baltimore/Washington beginning April 7, 2011, through October 24, 2011, while daily service from Atlanta to Bermuda will begin on May 26, 2011, through September 6, 2011.

"Bermuda is delighted to welcome new air services from AirTran. With such strong business, cultural and educational ties with both Atlanta and the Baltimore-Washington area, the introduction of these two new flights brings with it a choice in direct air service along with added seats at lower fares," Bermuda's Minister of Transport, Terry Lister expressed with delight. "And given AirTran's proven track record of entering new markets and succeeding, this will undoubtedly bring about additional visitors to our shores. We look forward to a long standing relationship with AirTran."

Connections to Bermuda holidays will be available from more than 45 cities throughout the AirTran Airways network via Baltimore/Washington and Atlanta including: New York, Boston, Orlando, Milwaukee and dozens of others.

"Adding Bermuda to our already extensive international route map means more options than ever for our loyal customers to enjoy the world-renowned beaches and activities of some of the most popular vacation getaways around," were the words from John Kirby, AirTran Airways' senior director of strategic planning and scheduling at the conference. "We're making it easier than ever for our loyal customers from around our network to experience the famous hospitality, pink-sand beaches and unique island culture of Bermuda at a reasonable price."
