Jade Mountain receives two thumbs up for continuing to provide outstanding St Lucia holidays
A special event was held at the highly praised and much-awarded Jade Mountain Resort with a selection of special guests invited to see just what it is that make this special hotel so uniquely breathtaking. During the ceremony many gave appraising speeches
Jade Mountain has been repeatedly praised as one of the most enchanting places in which to spend luxury St Lucia holidays. And if you don't believe us, one trip to the fantasy that is Jade Mountain will put to rest any scepticism as to why this resort is snatching the most prestigious prizes in the hospitality industry. Envisioned by Nick Troubetzkoy, the resort’s concept is avant garde. Wife, Karolin Troubetzkoy is the other half of the resort’s success as she holds the post of the Executive Director of Marketing and Operations.
And just very recently, the government invited members of the media to the surreal resort on 14th Saturday August as part of plans to publically acclaim and recognise the many awards the resort has given to St Lucia holidays since its opening.
Nerdin St Rose, the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the St Lucia Tourist Board, opened the ceremony by showering much deserving praises on the resort. - “We’re extremely thrilled that our island and tourism partners like Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet continue to win several awards. These accolades reflect our country’s commitment to providing visitors with a quality product at high standards and legendary hospitality. Jade Mountain is unique in that the property has a spectacular location with the most amazing view in the world coupled with a great product and outstanding service, all key points of differentiation.”
For Prime Minister Stephenson King it was his first visit to Jade Mountain and he was breathless as he said, “I am elated, thrilled and moved by my presence here at this very facility which I’ve only ever had the opportunity of only viewing either on television, in magazines or from news clippings . . . Today I’m here and I think it’s more significant for me to be here today when we demonstrate our appreciation for what you have done in the last three years. The leadership offered by Karolin and her team in putting this very unique product together to make St Lucia proud, a product now which partners with our landmark, the Pitons, to bring to the world St Lucia in a very unique way. I must therefore take this opportunity to congratulate and thank all of you for a job very well done.”
It was then the turn for Mrs Troubetzkoy to acknowledge her team which comprises some four hundred plus employees who continually excel at providing the most magical St Lucia holidays. “We could not have done it without you,” she said. She revealed that other Caribbean islands have asked whether Jade Mountain can be replicated in their territory. Mrs Troubetzkoy chuckled, “Nick and I have discussed it and there can only be one Jade Mountain because we have a fantastic harmony, a unique structure and an absolutely amazing location.”
In July 2010, Jade Mountain won the AAA 5 Diamond Recognition Award. A month prior, Travel and Leisure Magazine named the resort The World’s Best Service. Other awards include Best Infinity Pools, Best Resort for Romance, Most Excellent Romantic Hideaway, Gava Gold Award and the highly coveted Counterpart International Emerald Award.
