A luxury India hotel will be reopening to travellers on 15th August 2010 to celebrate Independence Day, after undergoing massive renovations and reconstruction work with the help of internationally acclaimed designers.

The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai will be reopening its doors to the public to celebrate Independence Day after undergoing extensive construction work and refurbishments using the services of admirable international designers.

The Palace Wing of the India hotel is scheduled to reopen on 15th August 2010 and is set to impress guests with its century-old oriental style facade combined with lavish rooms, suites and modern facilities.

The Taj Mahal Palace rooms, comprising Luxury Grande Rooms, Taj Club Rooms, and Executive Suites, have been stylishly furnished with charming themes, warm tones and rich textures and feature modern amenities and new personalised butler service which has been implemented to reflect the imperial way of life and pamper guest enjoying luxury India holidays.

The luxury India hotel surpasses Mumbai hotels with its lavish decor, intricate detail and high level of personalised service. The famous Presidential Suite which is also known as the Tata Suite and the Rajput Suite, is scheduled to open shortly after the reopening of the India hotel where it will once again accommodate celebrities, CEOs, and Heads of States.

Established since 1903, the lavish India hotel is rich in history and has accommodated Kings, Maharajas, Princes and Presidents over the years.

With panoramic views overlooking the Arabian Sea and the Gateway of India, the stunning India hotel features hand-woven silk carpets, crystal chandeliers, graceful archways and a collection of fine art and paintings.

The hotel boasts an array of restaurants offering fine cuisine, luxurious spa facilities and treatments, and a wide range of activities and excursions to nearby world-class sights and attractions.
