Oman Air launches new series of flights for Tanzania holidays

Oman Air has launched its first flight between the country's capital, Muscat, and Dar es Salaam providing Tanzania holidays for travellers four times a week bring the total number of global destinations offered by the airline to 38.

Travellers can now enjoy Tanzania holidays from Oman as Oman Air last week launched the first of their four weekly flights to Dar es Salaam from Muscat International Airport. The new series of flights will open up the opportunities for travellers from all over the world seeking twin centre holidays combining Oman and Tanzania and tourists will be able to enjoy the choice of flights every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Chief Officer Corporate of the Muscat-based airline, Philippe Georgious, said: "Oman Air is delighted to add Dar es Salaam to its rapidly expanding network, and we have worked tirelessly to launch this route."

Georgious added that the new flights would provide more opportunities for travellers from Tanzania to enjoy Oman holidays and the historical and business relationship between Oman and Tanzania would be strengthened as a result of the new service. Dar es Salaam offers fantastic Tanzania holidays for travellers with a number of stunning beaches, busy traditional markets, historical buildings and monuments, and a thriving atmosphere and unique culture for visitors amen to access to the more traditional and strong safari holidays market.

The largest commercial city of Tanzania also acts as a gateway for travellers enjoying Tanzania holidays in other destinations such as Kilimanjaro or the picturesque island of Zanzibar as well as number of other African tourist hotspots.

"Dar es Salaam is one of the premier business destinations in Africa, and the entry to fantastic holiday retreats. Our services to this beautiful city will be utilised by the discerning travellers, whether resident in Oman or in any of our other destinations," Georgious continued.

The new service has now increased the number of worldwide destinations offered by Oman Air to 38. The airline now provides travellers with flights to destinations including Egypt, Kuwait, Malaysia, Lebanon, India, Jordan, Bahrain, France, Germany, the UK, Saudi Arabia, The Maldives, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Thailand and now Tanzania.
