St Kitts holidays attracts large crowds at World Expo in China
During the World Expo recently held in Shanghai, China St Kitts holidays enjoyed unprecedented popularity, managing to gather large crowds of onlookers who showed a massive interest in this tiny Caribbean holiday destination.
The appeal of St. Kitts holidays is looking more attractive than ever as the St. Kitts and Nevis stand at the World Expo in Shanghai, China, has been attracting massive crowds of professionals from the travel industry and curious passers-by attending the fair.
With regards to this massive success that St. Kitts holidays were enjoying among all the other popular Caribbean holiday destinations that were also showcased during the expo, the Island information service said that a delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinaire and Plenipotentiary, Roslyn Hazelle, who opened the Federation’s Booth at the World Expo 2010. "It was reported that over 300,000 tickets were sold or distributed for the Opening Day. Large crowds flocked the Caribbean Community’s Pavilion and made their way to each country’s booth within the pavilion", the service explained highlighting how St Kitts holidays had managed to stand out amidst all other Caribbean holidays that were also there to exhibit their tourism product.
"St. Kitts and Nevis scenes included but are not limited to a replica of the St. Kitts Scenic Railway, Nevis Peak and Brimstone Hill Fortress", the statement also added. "The most popular scene in the booth was definitely the Anglican Church Clock Tower. Almost every visitor to the booth took time out to take a photo in front of the clock tower".
According to Ambassador Hazelle the Federation’s presence at the Expo allowed for the export of their unique culture, life, art and overall tourism product for all patrons to sample amidst a selection of other larger and more popular Caribbean holidays. "Our tourism product is being placed on the world’s stage and has had an impressive review thus far. The team anticipates unprecedented promotional opportunities and proposes to strategically disseminate information regarding the Federation and the various components of its attractive investment potential,” he said.
“Our participation provides us with the perfect opportunity to showcase St. Kitts and Nevis as a place to visit and invest. As a team we will leverage our unique and strategic advantages in anticipation of maximizing our potential to reach and communicate our message to as many of the 70 million expected visitors to the Expo Site during the next 184 days,” Ambassador Hazelle concluded.
