A group of travel agencies and tour operators from all over the world have embarked on a journey of discovery across Cuba's eastern city of Santiago as they learn about the many interesting tourist attraction this province has on offer.

Exploring the quality of Cuba holidays in the far eastern city of Santiago de Cuba, a group of tour operators from different countries is on a journey of discovery about the many wonders this ancients hides. According to the Cuban National Information Agency, during their trip the visitors learned about the culture, history, traditions and tourism product of this city during a familiarisation tour of Eastern Cuba, which will ultimately help to promote Cuba holidays in this region.

For further exploration and evaluation of Cuba holidays on this eastern area, the tour is set to continue its course over the next few days accompanied by the sound of the Chinese cornet. During this time tour operators will be enjoying walks to discover the heritage and architectural values of this rich and ancient city with nearly 495 years of existence.

As these tour operators will learn during their visit, many symbolic places can be visited during Cuba holidays in Santiago de Cuba. Some of them include the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery, which is National Monument, El Cobre town where is the sanctuary of Virgin of Charity, (patron saint of Cuba), the Barrita del Ron (the rum little bar) and the Don Pancho Bodega (Don Panchoâ?Ös cellar).

One of the main attractions enjoyed by many tourists during their holidays in Santiago de Cuba is the Casa de la Trova Pepe Sanchez (Folk song house) where lovely guitar sound can be heard every day and night.
