A new General Manager has been appointed to look after a luxury resort on the largest of the private idyllic British Virgin Islands which provides luxury BVI holidays for celebrities and travellers and from all over the world.

Wilbert Mason has been appointed the General Manager position for the Peter Island Resort and Spa after being promoted from his position as Room Division Manager at the luxury private island resort.

Managing Director of the resort which provides luxury BVI holidays, Matthew Kent, said:

"His keen insights into guest service customization, his leadership ability and his proven track record at Peter Island made him the ideal candidate."

Mason's duties as the new General Manager include overseeing the day to day duties onsite and he has already implemented a new personalised guest services program, Peter Island Touch Point. Mason has worked for a number of luxury all inclusive Caribbean hotels including Spice Island Beach Resort, Grenada; Sandy Lane Hotel and Spa, Barbados; Palms Hotel and Spa, Turks and Caicos; and Palm Island Resort, St. Vincent.

As well as a wealth of experience within the industry, Mason has an MBA from Regis University in Denver, Colorado and studied Business Management at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.Peter Island Resort and Spa offers luxury BVI holidays for travellers from all over the world, including the odd celebrity or two.
