Day 1: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh! When you arrive at the airport, you’ll be greeted by your driver and local guide before being transferred to the hotel.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh city tour

Begin your exploration of Ho Chi Minh City with a tour of the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnamese War.
In the afternoon, take a tour to explore the other sites of the city including the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the vibrant Ben Thanh Market where you can practise your haggling skills

Day 3: Travel to Hoi An and enjoy a laid back walking tour

It is time to say goodbye to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the airport for a flight onto Da Nang.
Upon arrival in Da Nang, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in vibrant Hoi An. For the rest of the afternoon you can wander through the streets of Hoi An where you'll find an array of restaurants, cafes and outlets selling local crafts and souvenirs as well as charming local architecture.

Day 4: Free day of leisure in Hoi An

Explore the streets of Hoi An at your own pace for the day.

Day 5: Travel on to Hue and explore the historic centre

After breakfast, it is time to head onto Vietnam's last feudal capital, Hue.
This afternoon you'll have the chance to wander through the Imperial Citadel that was once the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty

Day 6: Fly on to Hanoi with a city tour

Once breakfast is over, it is time to leave Hue and head for the airport in order to catch your flight to Hanoi.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel.
Spend the afternoon exploring Vietnam's capital with a tour taking in some of its top attractions including the Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda and stunning Temple of Literature.

Day 7: Ha Long Bay Cruise

Prepare for a long but worthwhile day with a cruise around the iconic Halong Bay.
The blissful cruise will allow you the chance to sail through the solitary stone islands of the UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as exploring the famous Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves.
In the afternoon you’ll finish the cruise and return to wharf before heading back to Hanoi for the night.

Day 8: Fly on to Luang Prabang with a city tour

Today it’s time to cross the border into Laos!
After breakfast is finished, you’ll be picked up and transferred to the airport for your flight across to Luang Prabang.
Once landed in Luang Prabang, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel.
After you've settled in, it's time to get a taste of the town with a city tour taking in some of the top sites such as Wat Visoun and the stunning panormaic views from Mount Phousi. End the tour in the vibrant Night Market where you'll find everything from delicious street food through to local crafts and souvenirs

Day 9: Luang Prabang and Pak Ou Caves

Before today's activities, you'll have the chance to join locals giving alms to the hundred of Buddhist monks returning from morning prayer as well as enjoying a stroll through the morning markets.
You will have the opportunity to explore Wat Xieng Thong, the town's largest and most splendid temple, before carrying on to explore the famous Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of Buddha statues.
On return to the town, you’ll be able to stop and explore the local villages of Ban Xanghai and Ban Xang Khong, known for varieties of Laolao, the local rice wine, and handmade paper.

Day 10: Luang Prabang and Kuang Si Falls

After breakfast, you can spend the morning learning about Laos' rich heritage with a trip to the National Museum, housed in the former Royal Palace and home to the famous Prabang, the sacred Buddha image that Luang Prabang was named after.
From the town centre, it is time to head out and explore the surrounding area with a trip to the idyllic Kuang Si Falls where you can bathe in the cooling waters or explore the lush jungle surroundings.
This afternoon will give you the chance to visit Asian Black Bear Sanctuary before returning to Luang prabang where you will finish with a trip to the unique Ock Pop Tock weaving centre

Day 11: Travel on to Vang Vieng

​Today, it is time to leave Luang Prabang behind and carry on to Vang Vieng through blissful scenery of steep terraced fields and charming hill villages on the way. You’ll get the chance to stop en-route and interact with the welcoming Khmur and Hmong people.
On arrival in Vang Vieng, you can explore the famous Tham Jang Caves, used by the local people as a hideout from the Chinese invaders, before checking into your hotel on the river side.

Day 12: Travel onto Vientiane

After breakfast, carry on to Vientiane with a stop at the ancient Vang Xang site where you’ll find Buddha images and sculptures carved into the side of the sandstone rocks.
Once you arrive at your hotel in Vientiane and have checked in, the rest of the day is yours to explore Laos’ capital city.

Day 13: Vientiane city tour and depart for the UK

Before leaving Laos' there is just enough time to explore it's capital with a city tour showcasing some of the top sites including the Wat Sisaket,Patuxay Monument and That Luang Stupa before enjoying the rest of the day at your own leisure before deaprting for the airport.
