Make the journey from the modern metropolis of Singapore through to the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur and onto the lush landscapes of the Cameron Highlands. Spend a night amongst the tea plantations and rolling hills at the Cameron Highlands Resort before carrying on to the tropical island of Penang with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town with its eclectic heritage. End your adventure on the paradise of Koh Chaan with its white sand beach and swaying palms before finishing in Thailand’s vibrant capital, Bangkok.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Overnight in Singapore
Enjoy a night in the iconic Raffles hotel before setting off on your Asian adventure where you can enjoy the luxury of your own Courtyard Suite and the charming colonial style the hotel is famous for. Be sure to grab yourself the world-famous Singapore Sling, handmade in the hotels elegant Long Bar where you’ll find all the peanut shells littered across the floor!

Day 2: Depart Singapore
After a leisurely breakfast, it’s time to hop on board where you can enjoy a welcome reception aboard and settle into your cosy cabin.
Enjoy your first delicious dinner on board it one of the elegant dining carriages before heading for the Bar Car to enjoy a nightcap whilst relaxing with other guests and enjoying the resident pianist

Day 3: Cameron Highlands via Kuala Lumpur
The first stop on your journey is the exciting and sprawling Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur where after a delicious breakfast, you have the opportunity to explore its rich heritage and vibrant culture with a choice of two morning excursions. Guests can either visit one of the city’s largest wet markets or explore Kuala Lumpur’s history and heritage museums.
Enjoy a delicious lunch on board the train as you watch the city scape exchanged for the lush highlands and oil palm plantations before taking a coach transfer from Tapah Station to the stunning Cameron Highlands.
Take in the cool, fresh air and lush landscapes ideal for the tea plantations that the area is famous for, a world away from the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur. Tonight you can enjoy a night at the Cameron Highlands Resort with dinner at the resort.

Day 4: Transfer to Ipoh
In the morning you can choose an exciting excursions to help you explore the Highlands further. Guests can choose from a visit to the renowned Best of Highlands tea plantation with several tasting opportunities or explore the exotic jungle surroundings on the Jim Thompson Trail.
After checking out of the hotel, you can enjoy a delicious lunch at the Gonbei Restaurant before returning to the train at Ipoh Station.
Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure on the train before enjoying another decadent formal dinner

Day 5: Penang
Today you head for the exotic island of Penang with a transfer from Butterworth Station over to the island.
On Penang you choose from a range of excursions including a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, George Town, or visit the Peranakan Heritage Musuem as well as the chance to explore the Tropical Spice Garden Gallery. End the morning with a charming late morning tea at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel before heading back to the train.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure with lunch and dinner served on board.

Day 6: Koh Chaan Island via Baan Huay Yang
Start the morning in the charming fishing village of Baan Huay Yang where you can transfer over to the idyllic island of Koh Chaan. A picture perfect island of white sand beaches and swaying coconut palms it offers a serene paradise for the day.
For your final evening on board, guests can enjoy their last decadent dinner after a farewell cocktail with the Train Manger and staff, making the most of your final evening on board.

Day 7: Disembark in Bangkok
Arrive in Bangkok and disembark from the train to continue your adventure.
