DAY 01 KUALA LUMPUR – ARRIVAL

Arrive KLIA, meet and greet by our airport representative, transfer to hotel for check-in.

DAY 02 KUALA LUMPUR [B/L/D]

After breakfast, proceed for KL CITY DISCOVERY (approx. 3.5 hours)     

Highlights:
See the influential structures of KL city in one quick trip as each monument has its story to share. Admire the architectural brilliance and landscapes. Hop on this tour that will take you to the National Monument, King’s Palace, National Museum, Independence Square, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, and Kuala Lumpur City Gallery and choose to have a snapshot at the PETRONAS Twin Towers or National Mosque. Lunch will be serving at local restaurant.
In the evening, pick up from hotel lobby and transfer for DINNER DATE WITH CULTURE (approx. 04 hours)

DAY 03 KUALA LUMPUR / MALACCA / KUALA LUMPUR [B/L]

After breakfast, depart for JOURNEY TO DISCOVERY MALACCA (approx. 09 hours)

Highlights:
People constantly flock to the birthplace of Malaysia. Its strategic location led to an economic boom, great enough to cause nations to fight for ruling rights. It is through 600 years of various European influences that gave birth to a unique heritage, customs and lifestyle of the local folks, landing it the UNESCO Heritage site recognition. Malacca was also the state where Malaysia’s declaration of Independence was held. The tour highlights St Peter’s Church, Porta De Santiago and the ruins of St Paul’s Church, Dutch Administration office; Cheng Hoon Teng Temple & Jonker Street. Peranakan (Nyonya) lunch will be served at local restaurant. After the tour, transfer back to Kuala Lumpur. Free at own leisure at own arrangement.

DAY 04 KUALA LUMPUR / BATU CAVES / CAMERON HIGHLANDS [B/D]

After breakfast, check-out and depart for Cameron Highlands, en-route at Batu Cave visit

Highlights:
Batu Caves, the famous site of the annual Thaipusam festival (in January/February) where almost a million devotees congregate. The 272-steps climbs lead you to the top of a nature limestone cavern which houses a Hindu shrine.

Continue journey to Cameron Highlands with en-route light lunch at your own expenses, (e.g. coffee & noodles) at local restaurant in Bidor. Upon arrival proceed for CAMERON HIGLANDS COUNTRYSIDE TOUR (approx. 04 hours)

Highlights:
This fascinating tour will cover most of the highlights of the highlands. We will begin by cruising through the green carpets of BOH plantation - the pioneer of the growers in Malaysia. Founded in 1929 by John Archibald Russell, a Scottish, this vast estate is still owned and managed by the family till today. After the guided tour to the tea factory, our next visit will be the main revenue earner of the Cameron Highlands - the flower and vegetable farming. Here, one will not only see the various types of flowers and vegetables but also the methods used by the industrious local farming community. After that, we will visit local market where most of the local produce can be found. Check-in hotel after tour. Dinner will be served at the hotel / local restaurant.

DAY 05 CAMERON HIGHLANDS [B]

After breakfast, proceed for THE MOSSY FOREST DISCOVERIES (Approx. 04 hours)

Highlights:
Be educated on the humble moss, although usually regarded as valueless, is actually important in balancing the ecosystems in the forests by storing large amounts of water. This mossy forest en-route to Gunung Brinchang functions to prevent erosion by fixing the uppermost layer of soil, particularly on steep slopes and is micro-habitats for small animals of food for certain beetles. Take extra precaution while walking for moss is slippery and tree stumps are sometimes not seen under leaves. The return journey goes through carpets of manicured tea bushes where black teas is produced and after a peek into the tea processing factory, relax with refreshments at the Boh Tea House.

After the tour, transfer back to hotel. Free at own leisure at own arrangement.

DAY 06 CAMERON HIGHLANDS / PENANG [B/L]

After breakfast, check-out and continue the journey to Penang. En-route visit IPOH HERITAGE & FOOD TOUR (Approx. 04 hours)

Highlights:
Ipoh City, is Malaysia third largest city in the country. It is the capital city of Perak state on the west coast of peninsular Malaysia. There are nicknames for Ipoh: The Town Built on Tin and City of Millionaires referring to the vast fortunes made during the boom of the tin-mining industries.
This tour will covers the old town, which contains the pre-war architectures buildings. Drop at the east side of the old town and starts to stroll along the shop lots (Concubine Lane), some were residences and historical landmarks - restored and became restaurants, cafes and even museums. Here, check out some local cuisines such as Ipoh Hor Fun, the famous bean sprout & chicken, chee cheong fun, popiah, custard and enjoy a cup of Old town White Coffee. One of the highlights are Han Chin Pet Soo – uncover the mysteries of the Hakka Miner’s Club.

After lunch in Ipoh, continue the journey to Penang. Upon arrival, check-in hotel and rest & relax free at own leisure.

DAY 07 PENANG [B]

0900hrs pick up from hotel lobby and proceed for PENANG CITY DISCOVERY (Approx. 04 hours).

Highlights:
Georgetown is always abuzz with a hive of activities, heightened by vehicles, pedestrians and roadside peddlers taking their respective places on the tight roads. See almost extinct trades and crafts, pre-war homes which have been restored for heritage’s sake. Experience the harmony between races and the intermingling of cultures. The highlights of this tour include Weld Quay (Chew Jetty), Fort Cornwallis, Little India, Penang Museum & Art Gallery (closed on Fridays).
Drop off at the hotel after tour. Free at own leisure.

DAY 08 PENANG [B/D]

1800hrs meet up at hotel lobby and proceed for DISCOVERY PENANG HILL BY NIGHT (approx. 05 hours)

Highlights:
As sun sets upon Georgetown, the brisk business and chatter of day make way for lights of hotels, restaurants and watering holes to illuminate Penang Road It is still convivial, at a more relaxed pace as you set your foot on the cool hill, simply named Penang Hill, about 2750 feet above sea level and is the oldest hill resort in the country. A funicular train dating back to 1923, and has since been upgraded, functions to bring passengers to the top. The train ride is an experience in itself, coupled by colourful flora you’ll see. After that, view the city from the hilltop David Brown’s Restaurant. It lays a distant rumour of a long forgotten garden - David Brown’s at Strawberry Hill, a quintessential British colonial Restaurant and Tea Terraces.

Awaken the adventurous streak in you with this tour that puts you through the milder forces of nature. The Bat Cave is said to have existed since 400 million years ago, as you walk through the chamber, cold and darkness is the general atmosphere and then you’ll meet the bats on the ceiling - may be creepy for some people! Other highlights include a Mangrove Jungle trails where it is serene and calm, Fishing Village for fish feeding and watching Langkawi’s icon, majestic eagles. You might go for a swim at a beach if weather and time permits.

DAY 11 LANGKAWI [B]

Highlights:
Begin your journey with a visit to Atma Alam, a place to appreciate the delicate art of batik, done with a wax-resist dyeing technique. Legend has it that Langkawi was cursed by a lady named Mahsuri who was innocently executed for adultery and before she died she cursed the island to be in doldrums for seven generations – perhaps its true for Langkawi only blossomed not too long ago. You will visit the Mahsuri’s Mausoleum where her tombstone lies and watch a live gamelan performance & a video of her story. The beautiful Black Sand Beach will be your next destination, where you can take some snaps at the ancient fishing jetty. Right after, you will be taken to a must visit spot where by a 12 metre high brown eagle which symbolizes Langkawi is standing strong at the Eagle Square. Last but not least, enjoy the splendid of duty free shopping in Kuah Town before returning back to hotel.
