Day 1 – Arrival to Muscat

Transfer to the hotel and check in

Stay overnight at Al Falaj hotel,

Day 2 – Muscat – Amouage Factory – Al Hamra – Misfat Al Arbeen – Bahla – Jabreen – Nizwa

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing from Muscat and head to Nizwa region. Proceed to visit Amouage factory. Founded over a quarter of a century ago, Amouage is a niche luxury fragrance house.

Proceed to the villages of Al Hamra and Misfah also known as Misfat Al Abreen. The village of Al Hamra boasts a set of ancient ruins. Misfah is a typical Omani village that gives guests an insight of how the locals used to live centuries ago while Walking through the narrow you can see that little has changed over the last hundred years.

Picnic Lunch / Lunch at local restaurant en route to Jabreen castle, ), the finest of Oman‟s castles built during the late 17th century. On the way back to Nizwa, halt at the Bahla fort , the oldest and first Omani fort to be built in the Islamic style.

Day 3 – Nizwa Market and Fort – Birkat Al Mauz – Wahiba Sands

Visit the Nizwa fort which has been strategically built atop a hill overlooking the ancient city with its colorful domes and bustling market below. Spend some time in this traditional city and visit the interesting fort with the round tower and the museum and stroll through the Nizwa Souq. Drive to Birkat Al Mauz or “village of clay”. There is a full settlement of clay ruins (ancient houses) that are still partially inhabited.

Picnic Lunch / Lunch at local restaurant en route to Wahiba Sands, Stop at Bedouin Souq, an old traditional Bedouin souq. Visit the village of Manah then transfer to desert camp and check in. Wahiba Sands is a vast mass of undulating red and white sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see. Enjoy an exhilarating round of “dune bashing” in 4 wheel drives. . The sands are the traditional homes of the nomads and the Bedouins, so it is common to see them moving through the desert with their camels. In the middle of the desert stop to visit a Bedouin home (camel ride optional). The camp’s serene environment and simplicity is a wonderful once in a lifetime experience with a traditional Arabic meal, Omani coffee and dates.

Day 4 – Wahiba Sands – Wadi Bani Khalid – Coastal Road to Muscat

After leaving the desert visit the beautiful Wadi Bani Khalid The Wadi has clear deep blue waters, where the shade of the palm trees is inviting for a relaxing siesta you can also catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered all over Wadi Bani Khalid.

Picnic lunch / lunch at local restaurant en route to Sur where you can visit the fishermen’s harbor and witness the fishermen in action then move on to the Dhow building yard. Dhows are traditional Omani wooden fisher boats that are even today.

Check into the hotel to have dinner and freshen up then proceed onto Ras Al Jinz Carapace research Centre for a short walk to place where the green turtles nest on the calm beaches of Ras Al Jinz. The turtles can be seen late at night or early in the morning. Enjoy this natural phenomenon - an experience that is guaranteed to stay in your memory for a long time.

Day 5 – Coastal Road – Muscat

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before check out then Start your journey back to Muscat. Then Proceed to Wadi Shab where beautiful clear pools of the wadi oasis are a serene and rewarding sight. After visiting the Wadi – proceed to the white beaches of Finns where a picnic lunch box will be served. Also see the Bimah Sinkhole, a natural hole in the round created by a collapsing mountain. The hole is filled with blue-green sea water. Finally we pass through the village of Quriyat, guarded by its 18th century fort and then return to Muscat.

Day 6 – Muscat City Tour

The first stop on the Muscat City Tour is the Grand Mosque, a most beautiful architectural piece of work. From the Mosque, proceed through the Embassy road. The Muttrah souk is a traditional Omani market. The souk offers a wide range of goods, especially typical Omani souvenirs. The next stop is the Bait Al Zubair Museum. The museum is a small townhouse that has been converted to display the old archaeological findings and Omani traditions such as national dress and jewelers. From here you will proceed to see the Sultan’s Palace surrounded by the 2 Forts of Mirani and Jalali.

Day 7 – Day at Leisure (optional Sunset Cruise)

Enjoy the day at leisure or take a boat cruise around Muscat’s spectacular coastline as the sun goes down. The serene sights and sounds of a city slowing down for the night are the best experienced from a boat. Watch the hills of Muscat disappear with the setting sun, to be backlit by glittering starlight or the light of a glorious moon.

Day 8 – Departure Transfer

Check out from the hotel and get picked up from the hotel by private departure transfer to Muscat International Airport.
