Trekking in Sinharaja Forest

Day 1 - Arrival / Transfer

Arrival, meet & greet and proceed to Rain Forest Edge for overnight stay. An evening at leisure.

Day 2-  Sinharaja 

After breakfast leave for Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Full day trekking inside the forest.

The Sinharaja Forest Reserve is the last remaining viable tropical rain forest in Sri Lanka, just 21 Km from east to west and 7 Km from north to south. As many as 70% of the 190 tree species found in Sinharaja are endemic. Due to its dense vegetation wildlife is not easy visible although you may get a glimpse of the common and endemic Grey Langur. There are 20 endemic bird species. Many threatened species of mammals and butterflies are known to be greater than 5%.

After the visit to the forest reserve guests will get an evening transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 3 - Siharaja

After breakfast leave for full day safari in Udawalawe National Park. An evening transfer to Hotel.

Day 4 - Transfer to Resort (Accommodation not included)

After breakfast proceed to your selected beach resort.
