There is only one main restaurant in this villa resort, and not surprisingly so, as it only caters to a maximum of 24 guests (if the resort was to be chock-a-block full that is, normally there aren't more than 18 to 20 guests at anyone time). The gastronomic staff at Apa Villa Thalpe serves delicious and fruity breakfasts on the verandah of each guest's suite at an agreed time between the guests and the management. Authentic Sri Lankan breakfast specialties are also included on the menu as is traditional international fare. Dining can take place in the shade of the coconut palms as guests gather on the beach deck. Whatever your meal wish, the staff here effortlessly makes it come true.
Whatever your fancy, craving or meal desire, they can freshly prepare it for you; from Sri Lankan curries, fresh lobsters, tiger prawns and yellow-fin tuna cooked to recipes of the world. Taste the young jackfruit curry, fresh herbs, red rice and local specialties harvested from our estate.
Tropical fruits of pineapple, mango, banana, watermelon and passion fruit are simply delicious. Out of this world homemade desserts include pancakes with coconut and palm sugar filling, buffalo curd and treacle, and chocolate and fruit fondue.
Alternatively guests can choose to wine and dine at the Apa Villa Iluketia, the resort's tropical garden estate.
