The Hilton Bali Resort, the new Hilton-brand hotel in Indonesia

The hotel giant Hilton recently opened its first Hilton Hotels and Resorts property on the island of Bali. The resort is located in the Nusa Dua area of the island and reaches from the top of a cliff to the beaches below. Westin Jakarta hotel opens to guests in 200-metre-high Gama Tower

The Westin Jakarta hotel has opened to guests in Indonesia’s soaring Gama Tower. Occupying the top 20 floors of the 69-storey tower, this makes it the highest hotel in the country. Located in the commercial district of Jakarta, the hotel has 272 rooms and suites, all offering uninterrupted views of the city, as well as several restaurants, a spa, a fitness centre, and a 3,000-square-metre ballroom.

Visa exemptions among the measures expected to boost foreign arrivals to Indonesia

The Indonesian government has approved a visa waiver policy for 30 countries including Italy, Germany, China and the US. Officials are hoping to that by making travel to Indonesia hassle free for citizens of these selected markets, Indonesia will become a more attractive holiday destination. Indonesia is currently working towards a goal of doubling the number of annual foreign arrivals by 2020.
