Island Hopping

Duration: Full Day

island hopping

With over 1000 miles of coastline stretching along the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Gulf, the Sultanate of Oman is an exotic land of natural beauty, just waiting to be explored. Offering numerous white-sand and golden beaches, small coves, secluded wide bays and ancient, sleepy fishing villages, it is no wonder that Oman is becoming an increasingly popular holiday destination. If you are looking for complete relaxation, spectacular scenery, fascinating culture, ancient history and beautiful weather, a holiday in Oman provides all this and more.

If you are eager to explore the unspoilt beaches and coastline of Oman, this relaxing day tour is an ideal opportunity to see some of the country’s gems. Relax and enjoy a scenic boat trip as we sail leisurely along Muscat’s beautiful northern coastline, visiting one glorious palm-lined beach after another until you find the perfect Robinson Crusoe hideaway. Relax on white sands, surrounded by tranquil, untouched beauty; listen to the sounds of the native wildlife; explore rocks and caves, and comb the beaches for exotic shells. Turtles and dolphins are often seen close to the shore, and you may even get the chance to see one of the many whale species that roam the local seas.

If it gets too hot, take a welcome dip in Oman’s beautiful, warm, turquoise waters, which are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. With incredible natural reefs and abundant sea life, Oman is a diver’s paradise. The Tropic of Cancer passes through this country just south of Muscat, so most of Oman’s waters lie within the tropics. Surrounded by the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman, as well as occupying a small part of the Indian Ocean, it is no wonder that Oman’s seas host such a plethora and diversity of marine life.

Equipment will be provided if you want to snorkel during the trip, enabling you to experience this majestic underwater world firsthand. Swim alongside schools of brightly-coloured tropical fish and many other exciting marine creatures such as sea cucumbers, leatherback and green turtles, seahorses, manta rays, spiny lobsters, honeycomb moray eels and starfish. Marvel at the vivid colours as you explore the beautiful, unspoilt coral reefs, alive with hard and soft corals such as blue coral, black coral, whip coral, brain coral, brown and green table coral, flower coral and red and yellow teddy-bear corals. This colourful array of underwater wildlife is a memorable experience not to be missed.

Back on dry land, you can choose to sail along the coast once again to another piece of paradise. This is your day to do as you wish, on your very own secluded island.
