Dhow Cruise with Dinner Abu Dhabi

Duration: 3 Hours

dhow cruise with dinner Abu Dhabi

Enjoy a romantic evening under the stars during your holiday in Abu Dhabi, as you cruise around the city’s coastline on a traditional Arabian dhow whilst savouring the taste of delicious local cuisine. This tour is an unforgettable way to view the highlights of one of the most glamourous and richest cities in the world.

A cruise along Abu Dhabi’s coastline at night is an exciting way to see the twinkling city lights of its past and present landmarks, especially if you get the chance to sail on a traditional Arab dhow. Originating from the Middle East, this unique wooden sailing boat has been used for centuries by merchants and traders sailing the waters of the Arabian Gulf to India, China and East Africa. Today the dhow is a popular tourist attraction and a relaxing way to enjoy the majestic coastal scenery.

The city of Abu Dhabi sits at the tip of a T-shaped island in the Persian Gulf, and is connected to the mainland by two bridges. After passing Jebel Ali, the world’s largest man-made port, we will sail around the artificial Lulu Island before cruising silently past modern skyscrapers and mirrored towers which dominate the city skyline and justify Abu Dhabi’s title “Manhattan of the Middle East”. Marvel at the reflections in the water of brightly-lit domes, towers, minarets and fountains lining the famous Corniche as we sail leisurely alongside the popular seafront promenade under the stars. This is one of the most picturesque sites in Abu Dhabi.

Dinner is also included on the tour. Savour the taste of traditional Arabic cuisine on your moonlit journey, followed by the fragrant Arabic coffee “ghawa”. Full of romance and mystery, this memorable cruise is a wonderful way to experience the exotic beauty of Abu Dhabi at night.
