Beautiful Praslinoise/coco Sister

Duration: Full Day

beautiful praslinoise/coco sister

If you want a day of pure relaxation on deserted paradise islands during your holiday in the Seychelles, this trip is the perfect choice. Hop over to two of Praslin’s most beautiful neighbouring islands – Sister Island and Coco Island – where you will discover exciting treasures both in and out of the water. These tiny granitic gems will certainly captivate you, and it will be difficult to prise yourself away.

Jump on a boat and enjoy a short ride across the sparkling turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean to the uninhabited Sister Island for a morning of relaxation and swimming in the island's alluring waters. Soak up the sun on glorious white-sand beaches. The island is formed like a figure of eight, and there are two secluded beaches on either side of the island’s slender centre, surrounded by lush vegetation, hills and coconut plantations which are ideal for exploring.

The higher points of the island provide wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding islets. As you explore Sister Island, you will notice that the landscapes between the East and the West are actually quite diverse for such a small place. The reef on the western side of the island offers calm, shallow waters which are ideal for snorkelling.

Before we depart you can enjoy a delicious, typical Creole barbeque lunch on the beach, which includes local delicacies such as seafood, coconuts, and breadfruit.

After lunch we will make our way to the beautiful Coco Island, a small granite outcrop which is the epitome of paradise. Marvel at the breathtaking scenery all around you, comprising clear turquoise waters and powdery white sands lined with swaying palm trees and spectacular, towering granite boulders. Coco Island also offers one of the best snorkelling sites in the Seychelles.

Take a welcome dip in the tropical waters and enjoy an hour of unforgettable snorkeling in the islet's breathtaking undersea world. Boasting vivid, colourful corals and a myriad of marine species, including tropical reef fish, turtles, frogfish, white-tipped reef sharks, starfish, moray eels, manta rays and many more besides, your discoveries will both delight and enthral you.

After your exploration of this natural tropical aquarium, we will take you to the pristine white sands of Côte d'Or or La Digue for more relaxation in paradise.

You Could Travel list their must-see islands in the Seychelles

An archipelago of 115 islands, the Seychelles offers stunning natural beauty in the heart of the Indian Ocean. Mahe is the country’s largest and most populated island and offers visitors the most options. La Digue is the most serene and untouched, and Praslin, the second-largest island in the chain, is a bit of both: one side of the island offers seclusion while the other side offers a bit more civilization.
