Maldives for families

Even when the Maldives have long been regarded as the honeymoon and romance destination of choice, mostly frequented by couples and adults in search of extreme relaxation, many resorts in the island nation have stepped up their game to also include families and lure them with a selection of top facilities and activities for even the youngest of guests.

Something for everyone in the family

Forgo the overwater villas (rather impractical when you've got curious toddlers prone to accidents) and go for deluxe family beachside resorts that have been built and designed with families' safety and enjoyment in mind. We at The Holiday Place take great pride in our hand-picked selection of child-friendly resorts in the Maldives, so take a look below and make the right choice for you and your family.

From fine dining options in dreamy seaside settings and romantic spa experiences for mum and dad, to dedicated fun-filled activities for the little ones, our range of family-friendly accommodation in the Maldives will give you the best experience for every family member.

Excellent family-friendly resorts in the Maldives

Even when most of the hotels in Maldives don't cater specifically for children, many welcome them with open arms and make families feel right at home, whatever the size of the travelling party and whatever the age of the little ones coming along.

But there are some exceptional Maldives resorts that do specialise in catering for kids and we happen to feature some of the best.

The Bandos Island Resort for example is a stunning private island resort that has been picked among the best island family hotels in Maldives by TripAdvisor voters. With a dedicated children's club that offers parents the peace of mind of knowing their little ones are well-looked after and kept entertained

Other two exceptional family resorts in the Maldives include Kurumba Island and the Kanuhura Maldives, both of which offer dedicated children's facilities that include kids club with supervised activities, babysitting services and special programmes to keep the little ones amused while the parents enjoy some time off to themselves.
