Day 1: Depart Singapore
After checking in at the iconic Raffles Hotel, it’s time to leave the modern metropolis of Singapore behind at you settle into your private cabin and watch the cityscape fade into the rolling countryside of southern Malaysia and up through to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
Enjoy a delicious dinner in one of the dining cars and get acquainted with your fellow passengers in the Bar Car as your cabin is transformed into your cosy bedroom for the night.
Day 2: Kuala Kangsar
After breakfast, it’s time for your first stop in the charming Kuala Kangsar. Spend the day exploring the impressive architecture of the grand Ubudiah Mosque, the Royal Museum of Perak and the Sultan Shah Gallery.
Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure on board as you travel through the country towards Thailand before enjoying a decadent meal on board
Day 3: Arrive in Bangkok via Kanchanaburi
Arrive at the River Kwai Bridge Station late morning to enjoy a picturesque cruise along the famous river with a local historian before visiting the thought-provoking war museum giving you an insight into the area’s infamous history. There is also an optional visit to the war cemetery
Enjoy lunch on board before arriving in Bangkok in the late afternoon where you disembark
