This is a journey through the heart of India to explore the old and new parts of Delhi. the Taj Mahal in Agra exemplifies the art and architecture of the Mughals; the beautiful palaces and bustling bazaars of Jaipur epitomize the rich culture of Rajputana. You can find all this within close proximity of each other. Ranging from the shores of the Bay of Bengal to the peak of the Kanchanjanga, the third-highest peak in the world and the highest in India. Day 1 - Arrive Delhi
Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be met and assisted by a representative and be transferred to your hotel.
Delhi is a cosmopolitan city that has a rich history stretching back thousands of years. It has been the capital of at least seven or eight great civilizations, and each of them has left monuments worth exploring.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel or explore the surroundings on your own.
Stay overnight in New Delhi.
Day 2 -Delhi
After breakfast, you will be going for a full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi you will visit the 17th century Jama Masjid and walk through the narrow, winding lanes of the colourful and bustling Chandni Chowk.
In New Delhi, You can drive past The Presidential Palace and all the government buildings. Also visit the glorious Qutab Minar and the 16th century Humayun's tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal.
Evening is at leisure. Stay overnight in New Delhi.
Day 3 -Delhi - Agra
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Agra (210 kms / 3.5 Hrs)
Upon arrival in Agra, check-in at the hotel.
Synonymous with the Taj Mahal the beautiful city is home to some of the finest mausoleums, forts and palaces. The entire city speaks volumes about the wealth, craftsmanship and architecture of the Mughal Dynasty.
Afternoon visit the massive Agra Fort which was originally started by Emperor Akbar in 1565, but his son Jahangir & grandson Shah Jahan later made valuable additions to it.
In the evening, visit the Taj Mahal. Taj is built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan to enshrine the mortal remains of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal.

Day 4 - Agra - Jaipur
Today morning after breakfast, check-out and drive to Jaipur (235 kms / 5hrs).
En route visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri.
On arrival in Jaipur, check-in at the hotel.

Day 5 - Jaipur
In the morning after breakfast, enjoy a full day city tour of Jaipur.
You will first visit the Hilltop fortress at Amer. On the way back stop at the "Palace of Winds"
Continue to Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century. Also visit the City Palace. The palace is now principally a museum housing a collection of great treasures.
Spend the evening at leisure. Stay overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6 - Jaipur - Kolkata
In the morning, get your connection flight to Kolkata
Upon arrival in Kolkata, check-in at the hotel.
The city of Calcutta, now called Kolkata, was established by the British in 1690 and was the capital of British India until 1911. It is the proud intellectual capital of India, with a rich contemporary cultural life. The city retains some of India's most striking colonial buildings, and is also home to the country's first underground railway.

Day 7 - Kolkata
After breakfast, leave for the full day city tour of Kolkata.

In the afternoon visit the Jain Temple, the Kalighat Temple, the book market & Tram ride.

Day 8 - Kolkata - Bagdogra - Gangtok
In the morning after breakfast, board your flight to Bagdogra
Upon arrival in Bagdogra, a steep uphill drive will take you to Gangtok (127 kms / 4 Hrs)
On arrival in Gangtok, check-in at the hotel.
Gangtok (meaning 'High Hill') is the capital of Sikkim state and sits on a ridge overlooking the Ranipul river. The scenery is spectacular, with fine views of the Kanchenjunga range. Within the city and its immediate environs are some fascinating places to visit.

Day 9 - Gangtok
After breakfast Visit Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Enchey Monastery and Cottage Industry (Both Closed on Sunday).

Day 10 - Gangtok - Kalimpong
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Kalimpong (75 kms / 2.5 Hrs)
Upon arrival in Kalimpong, check-in at the hotel.
Kalimpong is a bustling bazaar town set at an altitude of 1250 m among the rolling foothills and deep valleys of the Himalayas. Its attractions include three monasteries, lovely churches, orchid nurseries and fine views over the countryside. The surroundings are ideal for long peaceful walks.
Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing of Kalimpong.

Day 11 - Kalimpong - Darjeeling
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling (60 kms / 2.5 Hrs)

Darjeeling has been a popular hill station since the British established it in the mid-1800s.With its idyllic setting, exhilarating climate and stunning views of the Kanchenjunga peaks it also attracts trekkers. It is a fascinating town where you can see Buddhist monasteries, visit tea plantations, bargain-hunt or go trekking.
In the afternoon take a tour of Tibetan Refugee Centre (Closed on Sunday), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & the zoo (Both Closed on Thursday).
Evening is at leisure. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 12 - Darjeeling
Visit to Tiger Hill. Continue to Ghoom Monastery before returning to the hotel for breakfast,
After Breakfast toy train ride up to Ghoom and back (Subject to operation of this train and availability of the seats),
Later in the day visit a tea garden (On Monday at Tea Gardens there is no processing and during winter i.e. middle of Nov till Mar at Tea Gardens there is no plucking or processing).

Day 13 - Darjeeling - Bagdogra - Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Bagdogra airport (93 kms / 03 Hrs).
