Day 1 - Havana
Arrival to Havana. Meet and greet at “Jose Marti” International Airport. Transfer to selected hotel Tryp Havana Libre. Dinner is included at a local restaurant.
Day 2 - Havana
After breakfast you’ll visit the old part of Havana which was built in 1515. Havana's wealth of fascinating architecture will excite you as you'll be shown many interesting historical places. UNESCO declared this part of town a world heritage site with numerous historical landmarks and offers the most interesting buildings from the Colonial Era. Visit the Plaza de la Catedral, the Castillo de la Real Fuerza, Plaza de San Francisco de Asis and the Plaza Vieja. You’ll also visit the book market at the Plaza de Armas where you can get some real bargains on antique books, old coins and other interesting objects. Lunch will be eaten in a restaurant in the Old Town, before taking a coach on a sightseeing tour through the modern part of Havana passing by the Capitolio, Parque Central, Parque de la Fraternidad, Plaza de la Revolución and the rum factory Bocoy. Day 3 - Havana - Viñales Valley - Havana
After breakfast you will head off to the picturesque Viñales Valley, situated in the west of the country. On the way, you will visit of Pinar del Rio, the capital city of this province where you will also visit a cigar factory and see first-hand the transformation from tobacco leaves into a cigar.
From there you will continue to the Mural de la Prehistoria, a huge 120m-long painting designed in 1961 by Leovigildo González Morillo on the side of Mogote Pita. Lunch will be eaten in a restaurant in the Valley of Viñales. There will be an optional visit of the Cueva del Indio; A stalactite cave with an underground river on which the visitors return by boat back to ground level. On the way back to Havana visit a Casa del Veguero: A drying barn for tobacco plants with an explanation of the cultivation and harvesting of the tobacco leaves (during harvesting period). Stop at the viewpoint Mirador Los Jazmines. Return to Havana. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 - Havana - Cienfuegos
Head back past Havana to the French founded city of Cienfuegos through the densely vegetated Peninsula de Zapata swamp-lands, and along the beautiful Bay of Pigs. This is where the landing of counter-revolutionary exile militia occurred in 1961. There is a museum here that recounts the events of this conflict which resulted in the first defeat of a U.S backed take-over in Latin America. You will also make a stop at a beautiful swimming hole (Cenote) which resembles a huge natural tropical fish tank, and if the conditions are favourable, you’ll be able to enjoy some snorkelling on the beach.
The main appeal in Cienfuegos lies partly in the European flavour of its colonial hub, with a wide Parisian-style boulevard and elegant colonnades.

Day 5 - Cienfuegos - Trinidad

For most visitors to Cuba, Trinidad is their standout favourite destination. No other colonial city in Cuba is so well preserved, and the local residents are extremely friendly and welcoming. Trinidad is steeped in religiosity, none the least of which is Santeria, which is one of several Afro-Cuban religions.
What the majority of visitors love most about Trinidad is the nightlife. There are no less than 10 live music venues all within a short walking distance. Many of these have lovely outdoor settings, in courtyards, and within the walls of old colonial ruins.
Nearby is the lovely Valle de los Ingenios (Valley of Sugar mills) and Playa Ancón - where you can enjoy long stretches of unspoiled, white sand beaches. Scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming in waterfalls and horse-riding are other optional activities.
Day 6 - Trinidad
Full day tour of Trinidad, the city was proclaimed a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988, the tour included a visit to the Manaca Isnaga Tower, the Romance Museum and La Canchanchara. Lunch is also included.
Day 7 - Trinidad - Havana
On the way back to Havana you will stop in at the town of Santa Clara for a city tour and lunch. Upon entering Santa Clara, there is a huge statue of Ernesto Ché Guevara, to commemorate his death and that of the revolutionaries who died along with him in Bolivia. There is also a mausoleum dedicated to his amazing life.
Day 8 - Havana
Free time in the morning before you depart in the evening. Transfers to the airport by coach are included.
