The staff were wonderful, especially Yaneisey who upgraded us to a suite and went to endless trouble marking maps with places of interest and organising an open top Chevrolet Impala for our trip around Havana. Dating back to 1927, the Xanadu Mansion is steeped in history. Originally belonging to French American millionaire Irenee Dupont de Nemours, the property is now surrounded by lush gardens and a golf course. There are magnificent views of the ocean from all sides of the house, and the 1930s decor still remains to give a quaint feel to the place. Each room is so unique it has its own name!
