Day 1 - Delhi
Once arrived in Delhi, a reprehensive will meet you at the exit and transfer you to the first hotel on the tour.
Where you will be free to relax for the rest of day either within the hotel or explore all that Delhi has to offer. Delhi is one of the major gateways into the country and combines the ancient and the modern beautifully.

Day 2 - Delhi
After breakfast, You will be going for a full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi you will visit the 17th century Jama Masjid and walk through the narrow, winding lanes of the colourful and bustling Chandni Chowk.
In New Delhi, You can drive past The Presidential Palace and also visit the 16th century Humayuna tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

Day 3 - Delhi - Agra
Leave Delhi after breakfast and proceed to Agra and check in to the next hotel on the tour.
In modern times, the city of Agra is a thriving carpet industry where you can also find leather workers, sandstone and marble sculptors, some of whom claim to be direct descendants of the craftsmen who had helped build the Taj Mahal.

Day 4 - Agra
In the morning visit Taj Mahal, On the inner walls, jewel-like stones create beautiful designs in white marble.
During the Afternoon you will proceed to visit Agra Fort, where the ageing Emperor Shah Jahan, imprisoned by his son, watched from a distance the fulfilment of his life's dream, the building of the Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife.
You also have the option to visit the Taj Mahal on your own at sunset

Day 5 - Agra to Jaipur
After breakfast you will drive to Jaipur, visiting Fatehpur Sikri En-route.
Fatehpur Sikri, is the deserted red sandstone city, It was abandoned soon after it was built when the local wells went dry and it remains today in much the same condition that it was over 300 years ago. It is complete with palaces and mosques and used to be a town larger than London when it was originally constructed. Now it is an extraordinary place to wander around with its buildings in near perfect condition.
On Arrival at Jaipur you will check in to the hotel and then be free to spend the rest of the day at leisure
In the evening you will be taken to Nokha House for a typically Rajasthani meal with a Rajasthani Family.

Day 6 - Jaipur
Following breakfast you will proceed to visit the capital of Amber to see the fabulous Amber Fort. The fort overlooks the Moat Lake and ruins and remains are spread over the Aravali hills. En route to Amber Fort you will stop and see the `Palace of Winds, otherwise known as Hawa Mahal.
During the afternoon, you will visit the City Palace, which is an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways. The palace museum houses collections of rare manuscripts, armory, costumes, carpets and miniature paintings.

Day 7 - Jaipur - Delhi
After breakfast you will be driven back to Delhi, where you will then be free to spend the rest of the day at leisure for any last minute shopping, activities or simply relaxing within the hotel.

The spacious resort grounds and architectural design create an atmosphere of calm relaxation with a fusion of colonial and contemporary. Guests can enjoy a range of facilities and amenities including a swimming pool and spa and there is also a water sports centre nearby. The main restaurant serves both Sri Lankan and continental cuisine and the Beach Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing cocktail. Avani Bentota offers an exotic holiday romance or peaceful reflection.
The hotel serves a variety of cuisine to suit every palette at their two Restaurants and 3 Bars which also includes a wine cellar, and guests could even 'Dine by Design' where they could dine at any location of their choice at the hotel, and even ask the in-house chefs to tailor-make the menu's depending on what they are in the mood for.
Guests can relax and rejuvenate in the specialty Spa with a variety of therapies to choose from or stretch their muscles at the hotel's gym or in one of the two swimming pools facing the sea. The hotel is located in close proximity to the traditional Mask factory in Ambalangoda, the famous Turtle hatchery in Kosgoda and the renowned old Dutch Fort in Galle which are popular tourist destinations and ideal for those looking to explore the locality. The more adventurous guests could partake in a wide-range of watersports ranging from jet-skiing to riding a banana boat on the nearby Bentara river.
Good place to relax and just take it easy. Staff were excellent and plenty of them. Given the prices for flights these days the price for the hotel was very good. who ever said on trip advisor it was a long walk from their room to the dining room wants shooting. !! Cheers
