Kruger and the Kingdoms is a 7- Day one-of-a-kind adventure tour through some of South Africa's most scenic sights, where you'll be fully escorted through the wildest and most culturally-enriching landscapes. This fantastic guided tour includes quaint historical towns, a safari through the vast expanses of Kruger National Park for the big five game viewing , an enriching journey through the regal Kingdom of Swaziland & a leisurely boat cruise on the World Heritage Site of Lake St Lucia. Day 1: (Sun) Johannesburg
After your arrival into Johannesburg Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your Bed & Breakfast Hotel where you will spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Take this opportunity for an optional afternoon Soweto Tour (own account).
Day 2: (Mon) Johannesburg & Mpumalanga
With an early morning start, you will start your journey and leave Johannesburg’s distinctive skyline and head for Pretoria which is South Africa’s capital city. En-route, you will have a short orientation tour before continuing to Mpumalanga, dropping several hundred feet into the lush subtropical region of the Lowveld. You will drive via the historic towns of Witbank, Dullstroom and Lydenburg & passing over the famous Long Tom Pass onto the small town of Sabie.
In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely interpretive boat cruise along the banks of the Blyde River Canyon which is one of the natural wonders of Africa. You will then view Africa’s largest active Tufa falls as well as the famous Three Rondavels.
Day 3: (Tue) Panorama Route
This morning embrace the glory of a panoramic view at God’s Window which is surrounded with mountains, fertile plains and has a spectacular view of the Blyde River Canyon. You will then explore the Bourke’s Luck Potholes.
In the afternoon you have option to purchase an Elephant interaction experience where you can touch, feed & brush down the elephants.
Day 4: (Wed) A Full Day ‘Big Five’ Game Viewing in Kruger
Set off before breakfast & have adventure in search of the Big Five - Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard as well as other wondrous wildlife, birds and plant species in an open safari vehicle.
Day 5: (Thu) The Kingdom of Swaziland
Today you will drive to The Kingdom of Swaziland which is the former British Protection Territory & is now ruled by King MsWati III. You can witness a Swazi cultural experience before visiting the Swaziland National Museum. You will then continue your journey through Mbabane which is the capital city of Swaziland known for its vibrant markets showcasing a range of woven baskets, beadwork and carvings.
Day 6: (Fri) The Kingdom of the Zulu’s
Take a visit to the Swazi Candle Factory which has exquisite wax artworks in every shape and colour imaginable. You will then drive onto Zululand, passing traditional round huts and endless vistas. Spend the afternoon at leisure in the Umfolozi area. You can take this opportunity to purchase an exciting afternoon open safari vehicle game drive into Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park.
Day 7: (Sat) Durban
Today morning, you will enjoy a boat cruise on the World Heritage Site of Lake St Lucia before departing for Durban.
En-route to Durban you will drive along the lush KwaZulu-Natal coastline.
In the afternoon your Tour will end just before lunch. You will carry on your stay in Durban or alternatively return to Durban Airport for your flight home or extend your holiday within South Africa or beyond.
