Trail Trippers Adventure

Duration: Half Day

trail trippers adventure

The island nation of St. Lucia sits in the Lesser Antilles on boundary with the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea which provides the calmer beaches on the western portion of the island; with neighbouring islands such as St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Martinique and Barbados. Home to the intriguing Soufriere volcano, St Lucia is more mountainous than many other Caribbean islands.

This adventure allows you to explore the mountainous side of St. Lucia that is rarely seen. Traverse the green lush forests and discover the mystical interior of the island which our Nobel Prize winner, Derek Walcott, captivates in his collection of poems and plays.

This four hour excursion begins at your hotel where you will be picked up in an open-top 4x4 jeep. The unique off-road trip takes you through the scenic forests, banana plantations, picturesque rural communities and allows you to experience the fascinating aspects of St. Lucian life. A brief hike across a meandering river will lead you to one of the many admirable waterfalls in the island.

Savour the flavor of the tropical fruits in season while strolling through the forest; enjoy the breathtaking views of the waterfall cascade over the rocks; or swim in the sparkling freshwater pool; whatever you decide is sure to be a pleasure!

St. Lucia is internationally known for its Jazz Festival and the island possesses a rich culture of which you can be a part of upon visiting the fishing village of Anse La Raye. A brief stop here allows you to feel the colour and vibrancy of our local people.

Before returning to your hotel do enjoy driving through the vegetation provided by this topical island. Invite your friends, book your flight and gather all your travel essentials because this is going to be an experience you will never forget!

PLEASE NOTE: Seat belts should be worn at all times. This tour is not recommended for persons who may be pregnant, or those who suffer with serious heart ailments, and children below the age of 5. Flat comfortable walking shoes that can get wet are recommended. Take along cameras, towels, wear swimwear!
