Playa Del Carmen is located on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula in the heart of the Riviera Maya. Shopping visits are available to Cancun for a wider selection of goods and a regular ferry service runs from Playa Del Carmen to the island of Cozumel, a favourite for diving and snorkelling. There are also excursions to nearby golf courses and eco-centres offering a range of activities from snorkelling, diving and swimming with dolphins to land based activities such as cycling, kayaking, horse riding and hiking.
