Xcaret Trainer Dor a Day

Duration: Half Day

xcaret trainer dor a day

Xcaret ecological park is located in the Rivera Maya and offers some the best opportunities to get upclose and personal with our friendly dolphins… which is precisely why this tour is designed to satisfy those who are curious about the daily activities of the dolphin trainers and how they interact with their mammal friends in the park. If you have always desired to have the chance to fill their shoes then come to Xcaret and become a trainer for the day!

Interacting with dolphins everyday is an enormous pleasure shared by our experienced team of trainers but these knowledgeable and friendly professionals are willing to take a step back and allow you to gain control. They will provide information about the dolphins’ behaviour and life patterns. You will gain interesting facts about these creatures as well as learn about the facilities in which they live.

For the whole day you will be able to participate in training activities, taking care of the dolphins, feeding them and spending quality time together. Have the rare opportunity to feel the softness of their skins; you will be able to stroke and caress them like you would pet a dog or cat and they will thank you with a kiss and snuggle. Touch their back, fins, belly and tail and pose for pictures. The dolphins are certainly not camera shy either and will be more than happy and willing to participate. Dolphins have a remarkable history of getting along with humans and connecting with them on a very special level; so live your dream and interact with these intelligent creatures as they swim freely around you.

An unparalleled experience for animal lovers the “Trainer for a Day” programme at Xcaret is one of the best adventures you could enjoy in Mexico. Not only will you able to learn interesting facts about these playful mammals but you will also have a close interaction with one of the most loveable sea creatures. The programme caters for the wellbeing of the dolphins and their guest trainers. It is both a relaxing and thrilling experience that will provide memories to cherish for a lifetime.

A photo and video is available after the tour and your entrance fee, uniform, food and diploma is covered so just come along and enjoy. However, note that participants must be at least 15 years old in order to take part in the program. If your children are younger than this then try the Xcaret Delphi Kids program instead which is sure to put many wide smiles on their faces!
