Whale and Dolphin Watching Tour

Duration: Half Day

whale and dolphin watching tour

If one of your livelong dreams is to experience the thrill of watching whales and dolphins in their natural habitat, happily swimming near you, than this is a tour you cannot afford to miss! We take you to see one of the most spectacular shows Mother Nature has to offer with the lively somersaults of dolphins and the sight of imposing whales leisurely swimming close by and surrounding you in their entertaining rituals and aquatic dances.

Our fabulous catamaran sets sail all year-round and begins its journey along the calm sparkling turquoise waters of the Grenadian Coast. Our boat is fully equipped and specially designed for whale watching, with a lower edge protruding from the boat from which you can sit as your feet dangle above water and you get an up-close and personal view of these fantastic creatures swimming beneath you.

Around fifteen species of whale pass Grenada each year and specially during the season between December and April there is a very good chance of seeing them. During the peak season months of November to May you will be able to spot a variety of whale species including: Humpback, Killer, Cuvier’s Beaked, Sei and the tiny Dwarf Sperm whale. During the rest of the year you will find many other species such as the Pygmy Right, the Sperm, the Long and Short-finned Pilot, as well as the Melon-Headed, the Pygmy Killer and the False Killer Whale. Occasionally the ever-vivacious dolphins come to join in the fun and dance at the prow of your yacht as you cruise along these bewitching waters.

Some of these whales and dolphins that will welcome you with its jumps and energetic flips come from the north and south American coast and even as far away as Argentina, like the species of Franciscana, also known as La Plata Dolphin, famous for having the longest beak in its family and the rare mottled Grampus dolphin.

Behold the bewildering sight of these most amazing sea creatures creating a unique and lively atmosphere around the boat as they come close to you and happily wave with their tails. And all of this will happen against a wondrous backdrop of shimmering blue waters at the most breathtaking location in clear open sea, where you’ll be at one with these fabulous animals.

During your lifetime you will find few more rewarding and uplifting experiences superior to the unique thrill of whale watching! And the vivacious dolphins that often revolt around these tropical waters will make of this a bewitching spectacle to forever treasure in your memories and forever keep in your hearts!
