We begin this breathtaking journey from St George all the way through the steep winding roads that will lead you to the rainforest peak, an amazing spot at over 1900 ft above sea level. At this point you will have reached the wonderful grounds of Grenada’s Grand Etang forest located at the islands Central Mountain Range. We then begin to make our descent towards the marvellous wonders known as Seven Sisters Waterfalls; a majestic succession of seven waterfalls, also popularly called St. Margaret Falls. Once at this amazing location you can gaze in bewilderment at the rolling beauty dismantling before your eyes as you discover the captivating beauty of the falls against a bewitching background of soft browns and deep green hues.
The hike up here includes a wonderful trail through a private plantation where you will get the chance to see a variety of plants such as nutmeg, cocoa and banana trees. You will notice on your way up here that these sometimes muddy trails really have something to offer; wherever you turn to look across this lush rainforest scenery you will find many wonders to please the eye. As you make your way up you will be able to take in the agricultural Grenadian scenery as well as the rich bird life and the occasional wild monkeys. At these magnificent grounds flora and fauna grow abundantly so your truly will be losing yourself amidst the purest of Grenada’s blooming nature.
After about 45 minutes of moderate hiking, passing through the freshly rained on trails, you will have reached the breathtaking waterfalls. Here you can leisurely swim in the waterfalls’ crystal clear pools or just relax by the water as you take in the amazing views surrounding you. The pools are quite big, making swimming an enjoyable and refreshing activity as the water is cool. While chilling in these natural pools at the base of the falls you can also indulge in the ultimate relaxing experience as you take delight at the sight of fish and crayfish happily darting around the river.

Investors are said to have already begun the clean-up work for the $2 billion development on the Mount Hartman peninsula and Hog Island in Grenada, which will have luxury hotels, a national park, a marina village, and a wellness centre.
