Launch of multi-billion Grenada resort complex project nears

The Caribbean is set to get another huge hotel complex as the Grenada Resort Complex Project gets ready to launch. Investors are said to have already begun the clean-up work for the $2 billion development on the Mount Hartman peninsula and Hog Island in Grenada, which will have luxury hotels, a national park, a marina village, and a wellness centre.

First Pure Grenada Music Festival to take place in April

Grenada will host a brand new music festival next month with music from world-class acts including Angelique Kidjo, Joss Stone and Steele Pulse. The Pure Grenada Music Festival will take place from 5th April to 10th April, 2016, and will feature several genres of music and artists from all over the world who will perform at multiple venues across the stunning Caribbean islands.

CNN votes Calabash Grenada as one of Top Ten Hotels in the World

The Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel and Spa has been listed in the Top Ten Hotels in the World by the U.S network CNN. The hotel in Grenada in the Caribbean was ranked in ninth place in the CNN "Best Hotel in the World" category, and it was also named in TripAdvisor's "Top 25 Hotels in the Caribbean" list.

Multi-million Dollar expansions planned for Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort and Spa

Sandals International has announced a multi-million dollar expansion project of its Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort and Spa. The project will see the creation of 32 new Lagoon Nature Reserve Suites that will open in summer 2016, and will feature butler services, smart TVs, and the brand's signature Luxury Included amenities.

Calabash Grenada to close from July to October for renovations

The Calabash Grenada hotel has announced that it will close its doors from the end of July until early October to carry out extensive renovations. The Grenada resort will undergo renovations to its accommodation and it will have a new Wellness Centre with a spa, yoga pavilion, juice bar, fitness centre, and Zen garden.

Two new hotels in pipeline for Grenada

The Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr. Keith Mitchell, has announced that the Caribbean island will soon have two brand new luxury hotels. The Silver Sands hotel and the Riviera were purchased by Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris last year and refurbishment work will commence on the properties in the near future.

True Bay Blue resort to host Grenada Chocolate Fest in May 2015

The Grenada Chocolate Fest will take place at the True Bay Blue resort from 8th to 17th May, 2015. The festival will take visitors to Grenada on a 'tree' to 'bar' cocoa journey where they will be able to sample the local chocolate products, take part in design workshops, hike through a cocoa plantation, and sample locally-brewed chocolate beer, rums, cocktails, and teas.

Grenada seeks hotel development to become world-class destination

Governor General Dr Cecile La Grenada has revealed that Caribbean country of Grenada needs at least 3,000 hotel rooms to strengthen its position to increase its airlift. The Governor said that the government would offer incentives to local and foreign investors who are interest in developing luxury hotels and resorts.
