If you have any energy left after spending a day of action and adventure around the beautiful beach town of Cabarete, it would certainly be worth your while sampling the nightlife. With numerous bars, nightclubs, casinos and restaurants available, there are plenty of options for all tastes and budgets. Many of the bars and restaurants are located close to the beach, but you can still enjoy a romantic evening stroll without being disturbed.
Most of the restaurants place their tables on the beach to serve dinner, so try and dine under the stars if you get the chance. This is a magical experience not to be missed. The restaurants in Cabarete offer a wide range of quality local and international cuisine that caters for every taste, as well as an excellent choice of freshly caught fish. Aside from the beach venues, some of the best restaurants to dine in can be found on Cabarete’s main street. Wander from restaurant to restaurant to see what you fancy – the choices are endless.
At around 11 pm Cabarete transforms itself from a peaceful beach town into a vibrant party town, but there is still something to suit every taste. From relaxing in a chilled out beach bar to dancing the night away in a busy nightclub, the entertainment here certainly won’t disappoint you. If you fancy a bit of glitz and glamour, you could even try a spot of gambling in the local casino if you’re feeling lucky!
Many of the bars and restaurants also host a wide variety of live music every evening, which varies between jazz and heavy rock to hot Latin beats and island merengue to get you in the holiday mood. Sit back and enjoy the atmosphere with a refreshing cocktail – or anything with island rum in! A holiday in the Dominican Republic doesn’t get much better than this.
