Here you will see hundreds of different species of mammals, birds and reptiles that flourish in their natural habitats. This area is home to over 250 bird species, including the rare scarlet macaw, tanagers, hummingbirds, flycatchers and trogons. Frigates, ospreys, gulls, cormorants and pelicans can also be seen during the migration period from October to April. Look out for iguanas, Jesus Christ lizards and large colonies of American crocodiles as you cruise down the river. This area also holds one of the world's largest populations of crocodiles, some of which measure up to 23 feet in length. Your expert naturalist guide will inform you of the local area and wildlife throughout the jungle safari.
