Duration: Half Day

the best 4x4 tour x far

Think of Costa Rica and the word ‘paradise’ comes to mind. The country’s beautiful landscape is strikingly diverse, which is one reason why it is so appealing as a holiday destination. You could be climbing a volcanic mountain or trekking through cloud forest in the morning, then dipping in hot springs or sunbathing on white sandy beaches by the afternoon. The Pacific coastline is just as stunning and exciting as the Caribbean coastline, so you will certainly be spoilt for choice, whichever side you decide to visit.

For nature lovers, and for those who thrive on venturing off the beaten track, this half day adventure tour on Costa Rica’s Pacific side is a must. Discover hidden depths of Costa Rica as you head deep into the Costa Rican countryside on this thrilling four-wheel-drive adventure. Spectacular landscapes, diverse wildlife and traditional local culture await you.

After being briefed on routes and varying conditions that you may encounter on the tour, an experienced driver will take your group through the back roads to small villages and stunning locations. See the real Costa Rica as your 4x4 vehicle takes you over rough terrain, past mountains, through rivers and along dirt roads, to areas that tour buses and cars cannot reach. You will get an insight into what rural life is really like for the friendly, local people, or “Ticos” as they are otherwise known here; where it seems that time has stood still as little has changed over the years.

Get your camera ready for beautiful panoramic views and wildlife spotting galore. This off-road tour will certainly make your holiday to Costa Rica a memorable one.

Length of tour: Half Day.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes, sun block, binoculars and camera.
