Dolphin Watch Tour

Duration: Half Day

dolphin watch tour

Costa Rica is a perfect holiday destination, offering beautiful white-sand beaches, lush rainforests and a myriad of diverse wildlife.

This exciting Dolphin Watch tour will take you along Costa Rica’s spectacular Pacific coastline in search of various dolphin species, including the spinner, black-spotted, bottle-nose and common dolphin. Marvel at these beautiful creatures as they swim gracefully across the surface and dive in and out of the waves, playing and fishing.

You may also be lucky enough to see whales on the trip, including different humpback whale species, as well as sea turtles, vibrant schools of colourful, exotic reef fish, hundreds of sea birds and many other marine creatures that inhabit these waters. You can expect a surprise around every island and shore.

On the way, marvel at mysterious islands with jagged rock formations and towering cliffs. A local guide will explain interesting facts about Manuel Antonio National Park and the heritage of the Quepo Indians, a subgroup of the Borucas tribe, who inhabited the region during the time of the Spanish conquest of Costa Rica. The nearby town of Quepos was named after this Indian tribe.

Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse areas in the world. Not only is it renowned for its stunning white-sand beaches, Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio, with their crystal clear waters and surrounding lush green forest, but the park also protects coastal rainforest, a mangrove swamp, lagoons, beach vegetation, coral formations and 12 islands that serve as seabird sanctuaries.

Witness some of the world's most unforgettable sunsets after a beautiful relaxing afternoon in paradise. This trip will certainly make your holiday in Costa Rica one to remember.

What to bring: cool comfortable clothes (T-shirt and shorts are recommended), tennis shoes or sandals, sun block, insect repellent, hat, binoculars and camera.
