You will find more than 25 speciesof butterflies, all native to the region, inside a uniquely designed 1000-square-foot atrium garden. Your guide will show you the hostplants and you'll be able to observe the four different stages of metamorphosis (egg, larvae, chrysalis, and adult butterfly) and, if you're lucky, you'll experience themagical moment when a butterfly carefully opens its wings and takes flight for the first time. Length of Tour: one hour. What to bring: Cool comfortable clothes, walkingshoes, sun block, insect repellent, hat and camera.

Four Seasons Private Residences Prieta Bay will be managed by Four Seasons

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced that it will managed a luxury home complex next to its recently renovated hotel in Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica. The Four Seasons Private Residences Prieta Bay at Peninsula Papagayo will have 20 homes and will be located on 17 acres of land next to the 182-room Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica hotel. The homes will break ground in February, 2018.

KLM airline launches new direct flights to San Jose, Costa Rica

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced the launch of a new direct flight between Amsterdam and San Jose in Costa Rica. The airline will operate the flights twice a week throughout the winter season, and it will add a third service in January, 2018. The carrier hasn’t operated flights to Costa Rica since 1998, but decided to reintroduce the route due to high demand.

Andaz Costa Rica Resort Peninsula Papagayo acquired by Miami-based Gencom developer

The leading Miami-based hospitality and residential property firm, Gencom, has announced that the Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo has been acquired by one of its affiliates, Papagayo Partners Ltd. In a joint partnership with local real estate developer Sinergo Development Group S.A, it is the second acquisition for Gencom, following the purchase of the 1,400-acre Peninsula Papagayo and Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica last year.
